I was playing hockey in Adam's driveway with Adam when Charlie and the team came by.
"You guys wanna play real hockey?"
"Uh yeah!" Me and Adam said in unison, both looking at eachother and laughing afterwards.

I put my gear on and skated out to the ice where the rest of the ducks were. I looked over the recruits, but only one caught my eye. I didn't notice I was staring, till Connie tapped me on the shoulder.
"What are you staring at y/n?" She spoke, trying to follow my eye line but I turned to face her.
"Huh?" Damn it, "I wasn't staring I was watching the recruits" I lied, and Connie most definetly knew,
"Okayy, if you say so, but I think you were checking one of them out" I so was, the enforcer, Dean Portman. He was a very good looking guy, but my mind began to overthink, telling me that he probably had a girl back home.

I skated out on the ice with my music blaring, and I looked at the group, noticing this girl right away. She looked cute and I was most definitely going to get her name. We played scrimmage for abit and just from that little game, I knew that she was one hella good hockey player. Then, coach tied us all together and I was behind her.
"Okay you're a team, now skate together." The Coach said, all of us trying to go different ways, we ended up falling down and I fell right on top of her, and her eyes, her y/e/c eyes.

He just had to fall right on top of me and all I could do was stare at his eyes, and I could tell he was staring at mine.
"I'm y/n" I whispered so he could hear, but not loud enough for the others to hear. He got off of me and gave me his hand to help me up.
"I'm Dean." We both smiled and looked back at Coach, hoping nobody noticed our little interaction, but Connie had seen and she would never let me live it down.

We were down 10-1 in our game today in the second period. I had the puck and I was skating down the ice when a guy checked me out of nowhere and I had knocked the wind out of myself.
Dean, seeing this happen, went after him hard, and got ejected from the game. Dean, the guy I had met a week ago and talked to everyday since, cared about me enough to go after the guy. My Dean did that for me.
