Luis Mendoza- Speedster (SI)

i met Luis about 2 weeks ago and he's a great skater and all but one tiny thing is that he can't stop to save his life. we meet 3 times a week and sometimes after practice and i try to teach him how to stop but he just can't get the hang of it. i think he's maybe stopped 2/5 times he's tried, if that. i've cried 6 or 7 times from laughing when he falls. his cheeks go red every time he falls and he looks back at me. "just try again, you can do it" i tell him everytime. he goes to try again but takes a turn and come towards me. he crashed into me making me fall, and him fall on top of me. i looked at luis and he looked at me. i don't know how long we looked at eachother for before he leaned in and kissed me. i kissed him back of course, i mean, it's Luis Mendoza we are talking about! why wouldn't i kiss the guy i've had a crush on since i met him. he pulls away and gets up,  then sticks his hand out to help me up. i take his hand and he helps me up and brings me in and kisses me again. we pull away and he looks at me again and says, "y/n, ive been lying to you. i can stop, mostly, i just wanted to hang out with you more." he says, bringing his hand to the back of his neck and scratching it.
"luis, ive had a crush on you since i first saw you, the day we met." i said taking his hand. "i just didn't know how to tell you, so i kept quiet." "you know y/n, i couldn't take me eyes off you when i first saw you." Luis said, before he leaned in and kissed me more passionately than the first 2.
