Ken Wu- Library Corners

-Kens pov-

me and y/n hung out again today, and each time i hang out with her, i fall even more in love with her. she smelt like sunshine and bubble gum today, like she does most days. we talked about the hockey practice we had last night and how bad it would be today, because it was grueling yesterday. Coach Orion is a good coach and all, he lets us have days off but still, the days we have practice in too tired to even change. tomorrow i get to hang with y/n all day, because it's Saturday, and we have to go to the library and find a book for our book report, in which we partnered together to do it.

I was walking to hockey practice with Ken since we had just hung out, we decided to walk with one another. walking with Ken is just peaceful and calming in a way, sometimes we talk and sometimes we walk in silence and it isn't even awkward. we got to the rink and changed into our gear and went out on the ice to where some of the others were standing. we waited 5 more minutes for the rest to come out and they did. we did our drills and our warmup sprints. Coach Orion had us work on passing and team work, so me, Ken and Dwayne started passing the puck to one another in a triangle. Dwayne hit it a little to hard and i couldn't catch it in time so i had to skate over to go get it. After practice had ended, me and Ken walked back to my dorm, and we hopped on my bed.

-Time skip-

it was the next morning and i realized it was Saturday, i look over beside me to see Ken asleep. We had fallen asleep in my bed after watching "Flipped", it was the movie we bonded over, so we watch it alot. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, 10:32am.

"Hey sleepyhead, wake up we got to go to the library" we woke up and grabbed granola bars and headed out the door and made our way to the library. When we got there we started searching for a book for the report. after about 10 minutes, we went to a corner on the back of the library, where nobody really goes. i grabbed a picture book to read and say it was for our report, and to make ken laugh. when i got close to the corner i held up the picture book.

"i found our book" i say smiling, he looks up and starts laughing. i sit down beside him.

"can we read it at least" i ask him.

"fine y/n but i'm reading it" he said. i did a little celebration. i gave him the book and he opened it and started reading. i leaned my head against his shoulder.

-Kens pov-

she put her head on my shoulder, and a rush of butterflies filled my stomach. i flipped the page and started reading again. then out of nowhere, i blurted, "i like you y/n."

she started sitting up slowly, and when she sat up all the way. i looked up into her eyes. i couldn't tell what she was going to do, whether she was going to leave or stay. then i was met with her lips on mine. she was kissing me, and when she pulled away i had probably the biggest goofiest smile on my face.

"i like you too Ken, i just didn't know what the team would think." i nodded. then i kissed her again. she then leaned her head back on my shoulder, and i finished reading the story. then we sat there for another 10 minutes, just enjoying eachothers company, while we held hands.
