Stepping out from the car, a hand grabbed the few stalks of flowers tied together with a ribbon. Closing the car door, the pair of feet walked out of the carpark, walking on the path that ran along the mid-level fence. At the corner of his peripheral, a familiar hair colour caught his eyes and he turned his head towards that direction.

Eyes widening in confusion, the pair of feet walked faster, entering the cemetery park. He then realised the three other familiar people standing by a monument. It was closer to the corner; thus, he was able to see her from where he was outside of the park.

The first person to notice his approach was the one who caught his eyes when he was walking outside of the park. With eyes opened wide, the lips moved to call him with surprise, "Nii-san?"

Hearing her, the other three people looked up to see the approaching male.

Kaiyo stood up from her kneeling position. "Kusanagi-san?"

"You guys," Kusanagi raised a brow, "what are you doing here? Are you here to visit someone too?" He was curious and confused about why his sister would be here and so took a step forward and his eyes subconsciously moved towards the stone monument even though it was rude of him to do so without paying respect.

Kusanagi's eyes went wide from surprise. Since Kaiyo worked for him before, he knew her family name.

"Ah we..." Sakura trailed off, not knowing what to say.

Kaiyo gently wiped her eyes a little to clear her face and bowed her head lightly towards Kusanagi in a greeting. "Are you here to visit someone else too?" She asked, noticing the white lilies in his hands.

Snapping out from his surprise, he nodded his head. "Yes, there's a friend of mine here. I came to pay my respects once in a while." His eyes moved towards the monument again. "This is..."

A faint unreadable smile spread across her lips. "This is my mother. ... Today is her death anniversary. We are here to visit her."

Staring at the drooping shoulders of the ravenette in front of him, Kusanagi kept his words to himself. Looking at the altar, he pulled out a stalk of the white lilies in his hands and stepped forward.

Kaiyo noticed his action and took a step to the side. Her eyes went wide from surprise when she saw him putting the stalk of flower beside theirs on the monument.

"Kusanagi-san..."

"I hope your mother is living well above, I give my prayers." Kusanagi clapped his hands together lightly, giving a bow in front of the monument. When he had straightened his posture, Kaiyo thanked him.

"It's nothing to thank me for. It must have been hard. Where's your Father?" Kusanagi realised that their father wasn't here and asked. He didn't notice how Kaiyo had tensed up and how Rimu had grabbed onto her uniform sleeve since he was looking around.
