A/N:

Yayyy it's the school holidays now. Sadly it's just 3 weeks of holiday. Then again, I can't really consider it a holiday if I spend them doing project works, pity.

: A/N End

The sounds of glass shattering echoed out in the house. Pieces of broken glass bounced off the wooden floor littering the ground as a male avoided the mess he had made by walking around them and approached the living room.

A female stood herself rooted to the ground, never moving to face the male when he had walked past her.

Taking his suit's coat and his business carrier bag in one hand, he dragged his packed luggage in his other hand.

"To remind you again because you're always a forgetful child." The male grunted. "I will be out for a two weeks business trip to Germany and will be back a few days after I settle some other things on my hands when I am back from those two weeks. Take care of the house." He walked towards the door, pausing to wear his shoes.

The female shook herself from her stupor and moved from her spot, standing a few meters in front of the male in the living room.

"When I am back, I don't want to come back with the house in a mess or hear that something had happened. Do you understand?" He said but didn't get any reply.

The male wore his shoes and turned his head back to stare darkly at the female standing a few feet behind him. "Do I need to repeat myself or do you want another hit on the head so that you would understand my words?"

The female shook her head and averted her eyes to the ground. "No, I understand."

He grunted back in reply and stood up onto his feet. "Clean up the mess." He said, referring to the broken pieces of the wine bottle he had shattered in the kitchen.

"Hai."

When he opened the door, the female bowed down low, her eyes still stuck to the ground. "Have a safe trip."

The door closed behind the male with a loud bang. Once his footsteps couldn't be heard, the female uprighted herself. The sound of a door faintly screeching open resounded in the house.

"Is he gone?" A little boy poked his head out, his eyes wandering around the house.

"Yeah." The female replied. Turning towards the kitchen, she took a dustpan and squatted down, starting to brush up the broken pieces of the wine bottle.
