You eventually had to go back to your classes and left Hanako. 

As you sat down in class, Kou came up to you.

If you chose A in chapter two- 

You were confused.
“Um.. can I help you?” You questioned, Kou raised an eyebrow.
“You said you would talk to me more, but you haven't all day..” Kou frowned as he said that. Your e/c eyes widened and you stared at the young exorcist. “Oh, I’m sorry Kou-” He cut you off, obviously sad by all this.
“Did I do something wrong? Are you ignoring me?”Kou asked you, his blue eyes filling with sadness. No one was looking at the two of you, they were too busy talking about such things, like a step that was forbidden to be stepped on, or the flesh eating leeches of Lake  Lachrymose, normal things people talk about. But if they had been listening to the conversation, and paying attention to the two of you, they would have seen the two of you just staring at each other.
“Why would I ignore you? You did nothing wrong! I’m sorry! Today has been confusing, and I’ve been busy, so I apologize for not hanging out with you..” You said, with sadness in your tone, Kou got a small smile.
“Thanks L/n-san!” Kou replied, class then started.
(You now know you are friends with Kou)

If B-

You smiled as Kou came up to you.
“Sup Kou! Did ya need anything?” You asked, Kou smiled.
“Hey Y/n-san! I was wondering.. Did that perv Hanako do anything???” Kou asked in a serious tone, you started laughing.
“Well, haha not anything you’re thinking of, don't worry Kou, I can handle myself!” You responded, Kou nodded.
“Okay, good, he better not try anything!” You laughed again.
“Your laugh is pretty..” Kou stated, looking at you. You blushed.
“I- um- thank you Kou!” You stuttered out, flustered. Kou smiled at you. “You’re welcome!”
