Mr. Manifold goes storming into Mr. Harrison's office, confronting him about what he talked to me about. Honestly, i think he's overreacting, (he is), but maybe this has happened before or something.
I see Mr. Manifold mumble something as he walks out of Mr. Harrison's office, then Mr. Harrison himself coming out of his office trying to make him stay, then they see me.
Mr. Harrison tries walking over to me, but i run back to my classroom and hide behind the shelf. I tell everyone (Fundy, Wilbur, Niki, Ranboo, Dream, Sapnap) "I'm not here right now, okay?" They all nod, except for Mrs. Puffy, and shortly after, Mr. Harrison comes in.
"Is Thomas in here? I need to talk with him." He says firmly but friendly. Everyone except for Mrs. Puffy and Dream mutter some sort of no or shake their heads. Mrs. Puffy stayed silent, and Dream points to me and says "He's right there!"
Of course, the bitch has a bitchy bitch grin on his face, while the principal thanks him. While i walk out with him, i give Dream a "fuck you" look. His smile just grows wider.
The principal takes me into his office, where there's a seat waiting for me. Mr. Manifold is sitting in an other one, with a light smile. Mr. Harrison sits in a 3rd chair, and starts "interrogating" me.
"Did i say that from now on, school will be much harder?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say, no hesitation.
"Just let the pressure get to him, he'll start telling the truth." Mr. Harrison says not so quietly to Mr. Manifold.
"Wait, is there supposed to be pressure?" I ask.
"Yes? You were nervous when i talked to you earlier!"
"Yeah, because you were talking about how you were gonna make the school year super difficult??? Why else would i have been nervous?" I say.
Mr. Manifold bursts out in laughter, surprisingly not getting fired on the spot from the pure annoyance coming from both the principal and Mr. Manifold himself.
"I have class to get to now. Both me and Mr. Manifold. Can we go?"
He just sighs, and says yes. Me and Mr. Manifold walk out together, both of us going to the freshman rooms.
"See you!" I shout as he walks in to his classroom.
Now, the whole class is staring at me, because i walked in a few minutes late. I just walk to my seat and try to tune into the lesson being taught. Wilbur immediately whispers to me, unsurprisingly.
"Dude, what the hell was that?" He asks.
"I'll explain a few things later, sit tight Mr. Squirms-A-Lot." I whisper back.
more time skips because i don't wanna type the teacher teaching rn 😪😪
It's now lunch, i'm sitting with Wilbur and our friends again. I ask if i can explain the morning, and they all just nodded in unison. Why's everything so creepy.
"Okay, so i wake up, go to school, and Mr. Harry Potter stops me at like, the front doors. He starts telling me about how the first day is wast, but the rest of the year is gonna be hard or something. And the exact moment Mr. Manifold walks into the main part of the building, he completely switches his mood. He then says "That's why i love our school so much." or something. So as soon as Mr. Manifold comes back, i tell him all about it. So then he confronts, or overreacts to the PRINCIPAL, and the PRINCIPAL drags ME into his office after i hid behind the shelf in the classroom, AND INTERROGATES ME? Is that even legal? He agrees to let me and Mr. Manifold go, after i basically prove to Mr. Manifold i wasn't lying. Few hours later, we're here." I say for what seems to be an hour and a half.
"Gosh." Wilbur says.
"That actually happened to me, a few weeks ago." Techno, of all people, says.
"Tell us your story!!!" Ranboo says, and everyone agrees.
"Okay. This was like, the second day of school, and he does the whole 'i'm gonna ruin your school year lalala' deal, so then i tell Mrs. Puffy, and she doesn't do anything about it. Haven't heard anything about it since then, until now, obviously. I think i know why Mr. Manifold was overreacting."
"Why?" Niki says in a sweet voice.
"Because, if 2 out of like, 6 people had this experience, i'm sure some other kids had the same thing to say to a teacher. And Mr. Manifold must have been on his last straw or something, so he confronted the principal."
"Well, then how come not everyone out of the 6 people here got to be creeped out by the principal? Does he pick people out? Does he use some random machine to draw a name daily? Who knows." Fundy says.
"I think i know. It could be a test of anxiety, or to pick out the awkward ones in a group. An example, i saw Tommy got nervous when the teacher called him up to introduce himself, he shows his anxiety on the outside. Mr. Harrison could probably notice that from the first day, so to see if he did get nervous, he said all the creepy stuff as a test. Kind of like picking people who show higher levels of anxiety out of a group of people with small amounts of anxiety, or people who show their anxiety on the inside. He most likely looks down on those with more anxiety, because this is a private school and we all have to be perfect." Wilbur rambles.
Everyone is just speechless at Wilbur's quick thinking, and they start thinking themselves. Like they're checking his work or something.
"How did you- come up with that so fast?" Ranboo asks.
"I don't know, i think it runs in the family."
All of the sudden, it's time to go outside again for some fresh air. We all pile out into the concrete dungeon we call outside.
woo that's a wrap again hehe, i wrote this in like an hour or sum i'm so proud
