The Wings of Fire symbol is engraved on the amulet. It grants Maxwell different types of powers. For example it allows him to transform into any of the 20 dragon tribes he wishes. He also gains their natural abilities when transformed, but in human form he can use some of their abilities except for breathing fire, ice, venom, electricity, and flying.
There are 20 tribes of dragons, 10 from Wings of Fire, and 10 from Dragon Age: Inquisition.
