Chapter 7

"Princess, what is it now?" Hunter asked.

I rolled my eyes while my back faced him. I wanted to be released for a while so that I could go to this concert performed by one of the newest artists in the system.

I huffed and said,"you just refused to take me to the concert."

His eyes darkened,"babe I just can't risk your safety by taking you to some useless concert. You didn't even argue when I didn't allow you to go to school."

Yeah well that's true but I really wanted to go and besides, I heard that little mix will be there to support the newbie.

I scowled and I teared up,"so you won't allow me to go? Tiger,why are you doing this to me? Besides I am not going alone. The girls are going with me."

Hunter snapped,"just stop it, Isabella. Someone was able to attack you in our own home while the security was tight. How will you be cautious out there?"

I tried to convince him,"but no one will recognize me if I don't communicate with anyone."

He literally growled,"and that's another reason why you are not going. Have you forgotten Thalia? She approached, trying to get us but she failed. Do you know what her boss did to her for failing?"

I shook my head,"no, detective enlighten me." He glared at me,"can't you take anything serious for once?"

I lowered my eyes and he continued,"she's dead,Isa without any trace of her corpse and do you know the funny part of it all? He himself issued a case to the police that his wife is missing."

I gasped but looked down again.

This time, he held my chin,"never,I mean never look down, always hold your head up high no matter how broken you are. Never show weakness in front of anyone. You are my girl, you are the boss lady, be bold like one. I love you."

With that, he kissed my forehead and walked out.

Sorry Hunter, you just used the B word and I'm going to use that as an advantage. I love you too. When I get into trouble and you save me, don't scold me too much.

I got out through the window and texted the girls on our WhatsApp group, "I am outside girls."

They replied that they were coming. I wonder what they told the boys.

"Who is there?" I heard a deep voice. I raised my hands up in surrender and turned to see a bodyguard.

I said in my best intimidating voice,"the boss lady." Just like that the bodyguard lowered his gun and said,"sorry, it's six thirty and the boss said-"

As rude as it was,I cut him off,"I know,no one is allowed to go out after exactly six o'clock. I'll be back before you know it, trust me. I'm just going to visit a friend who is pregnant. If Hunter hears this, you will be sorry."

The bodyguard gulped and gave way. I sweetly smiled at him and walked away. I met the girls at entrance in Thessan's favourite and only car. Dawn is so much in trouble. I giggled and hopped on.

"So how did you get here, Isabella?" Tasha asked.

I answered,"through the window. He won't allow me to go. What about you guys?"

Tasha said,"I lied that I was to the kitchen to get water." The girls nodded.

"Whoa and they allowed you to go while dressed?"

Audrey said,"we just changed,we were in our nightie."

I giggled giving them a hi five. "Am I the only one who said the truth?" Dawn nodded. Ivory was silently looking outside.

"Ivory?" She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"Bella, this is the first time I've lied to someone that too Chris. He's going to be so pissed when we get back."

I smiled and assured her,"don't worry. He will come around only that he'll be angry and annoying for some days. Now let's go party!"

They all laughed.

The place was crowded when we entered. There were wolf whistles but we ignored them all. I could still see Ivory quietly pouting looking at her hands. A boy ran up to Ivory and said,"wanna go get a drink, beautiful?"

Ivory shook her head,"sorry, I already have a boyfriend and I don't think that he'll like the idea of me being drunk."

When he still insisted, I said,"hey, didn't you hear her? Or are just playing stupid? She already told you that she's taken. Leave her alone."

We pushed past him and started to enjoy the concert. Little mix paved the way for newbie as they sang think about us and sweet melody. After,I excused myself and headed for the bathroom. While I was washing my hands, the door creaked open to reveal a boy in black.

"Hey gorgeous." Those eyes, they look unpleasantly familiar expect that they were a bit bold now. Do I know this guy?

"Still remember me, Belly?" I gasped and started to breathe heavily.

I stuttered,"L-Liam what are you doing here?"

He smirked,"I am here for your doom."

And everything went dark. My last thought was, Hunter will save me even if I am in serious trouble with him.

Ivory's P. O. V...

"Hey girls, where is Isa, it's been twenty minutes since we saw her." I said in a panicked voice. Gosh, if Chris finds out that I am gone, I'm so dead. I'm so scared right now that I have to call Hunter's mom.

"Hello?"

Tasha protests before I can respond,"Ivory, what are you doing? You're gonna get us into trouble."

I hear Hunter's mom warn,"you girls have just five minutes to show up!"

I gulp while the girls glare at me,"see? Another one to our problem. Really Ivory you are a real bitch!" Tasha practically screamed at me while tears blurred my vision.

"Girls, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get us into trouble. I was just trying to get someone to support us."

"Well come on and stop blabbering."

Audrey came from the washroom, panting. "Girls,I found Isabella's phone but she herself is not there." They glared at me and I shrinked.

"Uh... How is that my fault?"

Tasha snickered,"how is it your fault? Well let me tell you, you are the one who will talk for us,ya got that?!"

It's obvious why they talking to me like that. I'm the youngest. A year older than me while Dawn is five months older so I don't get the chance to stand against them. It's pretty obvious.

I smiled at them and we all got in and drove off to hell.

There were two thoughts in my mind while the interior of the car was getting uncomfortable. And those very thoughts were...

Isabella, please be safe and Chris, please forgive me.
