"Cut the crap! I've been reviewing this fucking file a few times already!" I exclaimed in anger.

He just look at me and drag his gaze back to what he was fucking doing. "I still saw many mistakes and errors. Review it again."

I blew a loud breath and looked at him in disbelief. Pabalda kong nilapag ang makapal na folder sa mesa niya at sinamaan siya ng tingin. "If you don't trust my skills as the vice chairwoman of this company, then suit yourself."

Tinalikuran ko ito at taas-noong naglakad patungo sa nakasarado niyang pinto. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. I don't trust myself when I'm with him or when he's around. I can't trust my heart.

"Keith Berlin Gil," mariing sambit nito.

I bit my lip and rolled my eyes. Hinarap ko ito na may pekeng ngiti sa labi. "Yes?"

He leaned against his seat and fold his finger together; looking like a goddamn gorgeous businessman. Oh come on, Keith. Stop praising your stepfather. "How will you earn my trust if you're stubborn?"

Inirapan ko ito at mapaklang tumawa. "Hindi lahat ng oras ko ay sasayangin ko para riyan sa putanginang mga papel na 'yan. If you find errors, then correct it. I still have to run some errands. Hindi umiikot ang mundo ko rito at sa pag-babysit sa stepfather ko."

"Errands? Like what?" He placed his elbow above his glass office table and tapped his fingers along the white folders. "Flirting with your babi?"

I smirked. "My errands are none of your business, daddy."

Agad akong tumalikod at mabilis na lumabas ng kanyang opisina. I shut his door close and headed toward the elevator with a fast heartbeat.

Nang makabalik ako sa opisina ko ay sinalubong ako ng ngiti ni Gemma. She handed me my daily schedule for today and the next days.

"The meeting you'll supposed to have at noon was moved on Wednesday for your lunch time. The chairman ordered us— secretaries— to clear our boss' schedule next week," Gemma said. "May i-aannounce po siya mamaya kaya't ang meeting sana na nasa five pm slot niyo ay nilipat ko bukas."

I massaged my temple while looking at my busy schedule for the next days. Ano na namang pakulo ni Leslie 'to? "Bakit daw?"

Gemma shrugged. "Hindi niya po sinabi. Basta may meeting po kayo."

Tumango na lang ako at nginitian siya. "Can you make coffee for me?"

"Yes, miss."

I head towards my desk. Sumalampak ako ng upo at sumandal sa 'king upuan. I yawned and opened my laptop. Bumungad naman sa 'kin ang presentation kong hind ko pa matapos-tapos. May meeting pa ako this nine sharp, and it's already eight in the morning.

Napaangat ang tingin ko sa pinto nang bumukas ito at pumasok ang tatlong hindi inaasahang bisita. They were smiling ear to ear as they settled themselves in my office couch.

"Gemma, make one coffee for me please," nakangiting sambit ni Jona.

"Me, too," said Nicole.

"Me three." Kiara raised her hands without taking off her eyes from her phone.

Sinamaan ko sila ng tingin. "What the fuck are you three doing here?"

Sumandal si Nicole sa likod ng sofa at nginitian ako ng matamis. "You see, miss Vice Chairwoman, we are just worried. Nabalitaan naming naisugod ka sa hospital kasi mataas ang lagnat mo."

"Oo nga." Ngumisi si Kiara. "Bakit ka ba nilagnat? E, sinundo ka nga ni daddy mo, 'di ba?"

"Baka nilagnat kasi sinagad," sambit ni Jona.
