Chapter 13

"Going somewhere?".her dad asked.
"Yes,with me". Nicholas answered,not giving her any chance to answer. They all looked at each other,amazed.
"It's just this once".she spoke..as soon as she saw the looks on their faces.
"Its good..at least for your sake". His dad told her.
"Dad,enough of the talk"..he turned to her,held her hand and said "let's go".
She shoved him away."I didn't give you the permission to touch me".
"I'm sorry".he said ,she walked away .

"Make sure to be back early" her dad said after them.
"Good thing they are on good terms now".
"Yeah". Camilla said,smiling😊.

They got into the car and he started the car.
"Where exactly are we going to?".she asked
"Somewhere".he answered as he drove out of the compound.
"And just so you know, I only agreed to this song you could stop getting in my way". She was on her phone as she said this. He smiled and she knew it.
Tess called just then.
"Hey!"..she spoke after she picked.
"What's up?how are ya?".
"Im well..how's Joseph?".
"Is that your friend?". Nicholas asked.. She stared coldly at him,wondering why he had to talk. Tess would start with the questions.

"Who's that?". Tessa asked.
"Remember the annoying guy I told you about?".she looked at him again,totally pissed. He focused on the road ahead,without saying a word.
"Yeah. He's the one?"she laughed from the other end.
"What's funny?".she frowned .
"Nothing ma'am".she was still laughing."we miss you so much,nothing much has been happening".tessa said.
"I miss you guys too..much more you could ever think of".
"I know, just wanted to check up on you. We're back home for the holidays".
"That's nice".
"So I'll let you go now. Say hi to him for me".
"Who?".she asked.."Nicholas".she answered,then hung up...

She looked back at him.."really?you had to say something?you can't just keep shut?".
"Sorry".he simply said.
"I can't wait for dad to get us an apartment so I can be rid of you"..."urggghhhh".
"I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon".he smirked.
She shot him a cold stare and asked.."what do you mean?".

"He's traveling again".
"Wait what!".she exclaimed.."who told you that?".
"I heard him talking to my dad yesterday".
"No..not again".
"So you'll have to get used to seeing me all the time..haha".he laughed.
It wasn't funny to her.
Minutes later,he pulled up in front of a restaurant.
"What are we doing here!".she asked.
"What does It look like?use your head?..of course we here to eat".he got rid of his seatbelt and got out of the car.
She got out too.. They got in,sat on the seats and placed their orders.

She noticed he was always glancing at her as she was eating. She got uncomfortable and spoke..."What?!".she dropped her spoon.
"If you going to stare at me..I'll just Go".she said again.
"Sorry".he looked away.."I can't stop staring".she shrugged.
"Thats your business..leave me out of it".
"Okay".he said.. He didn't want to get her annoyed.
"After this,we are going home right?".she asked.
"Home?".he was surprised.
"Yeah".
"Funny you said home. You've never actually called it home".
"Whatever".
"And ..we are not done yet".he told her.

"I'm tired already".she brought out her headphones.
"You aren't done eating yet. When you done ,let me know".she put them on.
He didn't say a thing,just continued eating.
Minutes later,he was done. He stood up and patted her shoulder.

"We can go now".he paid the bill and walked out of the restaurant.. She followed suit wondering if she had done something wrong. She shoved the thought off..
