"Whew. What a long day," I said, stepping into their temporary apartment.

While we were outside, Hinata texted me—how she got my number, I have no clue—but she told me that she and Sakura would be at my apartment at 7 to go over the plan one more time and bring me any items I might need. I really don't want to go with them, but at the same time, I can't help but shake this feeling of adrenaline pumping through me. It's been a long time since I've done anything similar to my spy work, and to be quite honest, I've missed that life.

Gojo, Nobara, Megumi, and Yuuji would be leaving tonight instead of tomorrow. I wish they could stay longer. Having them here with me was so comforting, but this isn't the place for them to be at. But now I understand how important it is to communicate with those close to you.

"Hey Y/N, can you bring me the bag sitting at the door?" Megumi called out, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Nah. Get it yourself porcupine," I yelled back.

He stepped out of his shared room and stomped towards the front door. "You're a pain in the ass. Did you know that?" he turned to look at me.

"Hmmm. I don't remember asking, but thanks for the information," I said, patting his head.

"HEY! Don't mess up my hair!" he shouted, pushing my hand away.

"Nothing could mess up your hair. Not with the amount of gel you put in it to make it stand up. I blame Gojo. No one should have gravity-defying hair," I frowned.

"I heard that," Gojo said, leaning against the door frame.

"I didn't intend for you NOT to hear it. You just so happened to be here when we were talking," I shrugged. "But honestly you guys, this is way too much stuff to take back with you. You guys didn't even bring suitcases to begin with," I said, folding my arms over my chest.

"Your point? Quit your yapping. We're in New York, enjoying life baby," he said, throwing his arms up in the air.

"Keep telling yourself that," I said rolling my eyes.

Gojo's facial expression changed from happy to serious in a millisecond, which always scared me. He stalked towards me with determination in his eyes.

"Gojo I...I didn't mean to—," I started.

"Too late Y/N," he exhaled, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"I'm out," Megumi said, rolling his eyes.

I couldn't help but let out a squeal, followed by a fit of laughter.

"Gojo, you giraffe, let me go," I said, hitting my fists against his back.
