"So, what is it like to be working with Zoya?" I fired the question at Joy as I jumped on my bed, testing the fluffiness of the mattress.

Joy had told me he had been working with Zoya for almost a year now so I might as well ask him about the slight difficulties I might face while formulating my plan.

"Friendly. Not bossy at all unless you have created a blunder. You do whatever you want, have fun, she doesn't take it to heart." Joy responded fondly which had me sigh in relief. At least she would not be the problem.

"Great," I mumbled as I observed Joy as he lay on his bed like me, bouncing on it to check the mattress. He was a tall, not-so-muscular guy with dirty blonde hair. He hailed from Las Vegas. His smile and the way he spoke had that welcoming feel to it. At a first glance, he seemed nice.

"So, you from here?" He asked me.

A slow smile tugged my lips as I remembered the good old days. "Born and raised. But have set my foot in my homeland after years." I said and rolled out of bed and took off the shirt I had worn to change into the Zoya's crew white t-shirt.

"Yeah?" His interest piqued which made him sit up in his bed. "Been away for a job?"

"More like...been away to live." I chuckled and rolled the t-shirt over my torso.

"Dang man, you're ripped." He whistled while eyeing my biceps.

"Just a little hard work and boom, you'll have this too." I dramatically flexed my arm which caused him abruptly bounce off the bed.

"Even though I ain't that muscular, I have some super cuts too." In a quick second, he removed his t-shirt and flexed to show his bicep cuts. This nonsense flex show led us to a mini face-off where we did different flexes just to show whose body was best. Soon, Ezra and Leo joined, the only requirement was for an audience to witness the live show. The funny thing was when we should be preparing to work, we were doing this useless activity.

Useless reminded me of that frosty giant, Aura. I mean she should have seen me winning this needless bodybuilding show. Must have changed her thinking about me.

She must have been settled by now. I thought it'd be better if I reminded her to meet me before the meeting.

Excusing myself from the boys, I went out of the room and trotted to Aura's room only to hear carefree, hypnotizing laughter coming from inside her room. My senses came to alert mode when I acknowledged the voice of the laughter and just to be sure if I was right, I pressed my palms and ear on the door to listen through the door. And I was right; It was her laughing carelessly. Dang man, she wasn't a robot as I thought her to be.

"Whatever you're doing is considered to be a trait of a freak."

I jumped when I heard a voice from behind. It was Vinnie, standing there with an evil smirk, tilted head, and cross-armed.

"Jesus, you scared me, girl!" I patted my heart which was on the verge of coming out of my chest.

"What were you trying to do?" She arched an eyebrow and my hands itched to push aside the irritating hair strands that were falling on her eyes. Those annoying hair strands aside, she's sexy; toned figure, olive skin, tall, and seemed smart.

I smirked and leaned against the door frame, crossing my arms with my right ankle over my left foot. "Maybe I came to chat with you?"

Her smirk converted into a smile then she laughed and padded near me just to lean against the other side of the door frame.

"You might not want to do that." She said as she pressed her head against the frame.

I did the same, giving her a sexy smirk. "Why? You swing the other way?"
