It's later that day, Emma was in her room, going over everything I'm her mind. Regina and Marco had taken Queenie out for a long walk to give them some air and talk. They were a few seconds away from the bar, having been gone for almost all day.

"And what are you going to do now" Regina asked, glancing from her dog to the tall boy.

"Go and talk to mum" Marco replied with a sigh, knowing he can't avoid her forever.

"Good boy. Once you are done, send her to come talk to me" Regina instructed, pushing the bar door open to enter.

"That doesn't sound good" Marco said with a nervous chuckle, knowing the tone well enough.

Regina just giggled and nodded, watching to make sure her son went upstairs ok. She then headed out back and straight to her room, letting Queenie off her leash. The dog run over to the bed and jumped up, cuddling into a ball and falling asleep instantly. Regina chuckled as she sat down, ruffling her fur. The door then opened, allowing Rita to poke her head in.

"Hey, I need to tell you something" Rita asked in an awkward voice, knowing the woman wasn't in a good mood again.

"Who's working out front" Regina quickly asked, knowing Rita is supposed to be covering her shift right now.

"I switched breaks with Keke so she's out there now"

"Chatty bitch" they both said, a subconscious reaction when talking of Keke.

"Come, sit down" Regina invited, moving to lie across her bed in exhaustion.

"I have something I should have told you on the day but you were so stressed out and I know it's not easy at the moment" Rita began to mutter, worried to finally get to her point.

"I know what you're going to say, stop with the constant mumble" Regina cut in,  glancing up to silence her sister. Rita stayed quiet, unsure if the brunette really knew or not. Regina just sighed as she sat up, seeing the look on her face. "I know about our dad coming here"

"You know? How do you know" Rita quickly asked, snapping round to look at her older sister.

"Because he looks identical to Ryan and Riley, plus I've seen pictures of him" Regina replied with a slight chuckle, knowing it would have been obvious.

"I'm sorry, I should of told you but you had just punched someone in the face" Rita softly said, looking at the brunette nervously.

"In all fairness, I punched someone today and I may again later so that's not a good excuse" Regina said with a laugh, moving to sit on the edge of the bed with her sister.

"Hang on, who did you punch and who are you going to punch" Rita asked quickly, looking at her sister in shock.

"I punched a guy in the park because he kept letting his viscous dog near Queenie so, naturally, I got angry" Regina explained, giving a tired chuckle as she knew it was funny. Rita couldn't help but laugh at her sister, not even sure why she was shocked at Regina's actions. "As for who I am going to punch, I recon it's going to be Emma"

"Emma, no, why? Don't be mean to her, you knew she wasn't going to come back" Rita said with a huff, frowning at her sisters words.

"I know, that's not the reason"

"What is the reason then"

"I don't know, I just have a feeling she's going to give me a reason to punch her" Regina replied, shrugging as she knew this should have been predicted. Rita looked at her sister in annoyance, shoving her shoulder. "Hey! Don't do that. As much as I love Emma, she has a punchable face and personality"

"You two have the weirdest relationship" Rita said with a chuckle, shaking her head at her sister.

"It's not a relationship, we've been on one date and never became official" Regina replied with a weak smile, trying to laugh her pain away.

"I know this isn't the most ideal situation but if this ends up with her leaving and you staying, you can't let it end badly between you two. After everything you've been through, give yourself a good ending. I know what you are like, Regina, you'll be shielded and angry and then you'll regret it forever" Rita softly said, rubbing the side of the other brunettes shoulder.

"I can't go through a second failed love. Divorcing Laura was hard enough, let alone having to give up on the one person that makes me feel something" Regina sadly said, looking down to help hide the tears.

Rita pulled Regina into her arms, knowing that's all she wants but would never ask. The pair held each other close, Rita being able to feel the pain in her sisters body. Queenie then sat up and looked at the door, catching both of the sisters attention. They looked over to see Emma stepping into the doorway, standing nervously. Regina had forgotten she asked for Emma to come down, sighing as she moved from her sisters grip.

"You wanted me" Emma asked nervously, knowing this is going to end bad.

"Yeah, Rita was just leaving" Regina replied, trying to hide the fact she had teared up.

"She's all yours, Em, good luck" Rita said with a small chuckle, walking towards the door.

"Am I going to need it" Emma asked quietly, trying not to let the older brunette here.

"You always need it" Rita chuckled, slipping straight out the door.

"She's such an asshole" Regina huffed, having heard the comment from her bed. As she looked at Emma, she thought about what she was going to say. She just sighed as let her body fall back against the bed, rubbing her eyes to relieve stress. "I was going to tell you off and get angry but I don't want to anymore"

"What do you want to do" Emma softly asked, taking a step closer but not too close.

"Just come and cuddle me" Regina simply replied, continuing to look up at the ceiling.

Emma couldn't help but give a small giggle, just looking at the brunette. She slowly walked over and climbed into the bed, causing Regina to turn and face her. The two moved as close as they could, their arms around the others waist. The brown set of eyes just stared into the green pair, hating that she'd son be without them.

"What's wrong" Emma softly asked, moving her hand up to cup the brunettes cheek.

"Nothing" Regina mumbled, breaking the eye contact for a second so she could lie.

"Come on, tell me" Emma encouraged, instantly knowing what the brunette is like.

"I love you... That's what's wrong"

"I know, I love you too much too"
