"Mirae! Mirae! Mirae!" Hearing her name, Mirae turned around smiling at the familiar friendly face.

"Joha!" Joha jogged up next to Mirae as they walked to school together.

"What's in the bag?" Joha pointed at the small bag Mirae was hugging, protectively.

"Oh I made cupcakes yesterday! Do you want one?" Mirae exclaimed as she revealed the plastic container under the fabric, filled with small chocolate cupcakes decorated with a cream coloured icing and colourful sprinkles.

Joha nodded excitedly as Mirae carefully took one out handing it to her. She watched as her friend took a big bite out of the cupcake, picking up some icing with her nose.

"Mmmm thwsta so gwofjsd." Mirae laughed as Joha tried to speak with her mouth full, wiping her nose in the process.

"Your so silly Joha~" Mirae commented taking out a napkin and handing it to the other girl to clean herself.

Joha giggled taking another bite out of the cupcake, in which her eye caught a small shimmering plastic in Mirae's cupcake bag.

"Hey what's that?" Joha lifted the flap of the bag to see a singular cupcake that was wrapped in a clear coloured wrapping paper, tied with a purple ribbon. She also noticed that unlike the other cupcakes, this one had a big chocolate piece on top.

"Oh that's for Sunwoo." Mirae covered her face as she giggled, looking at her friend with a smile.

Joha forced out a smile too, teasing the girl, but deep inside she was jealous and even annoyed.

"How many days left of the contract?" Joha asked trying not to sound too eager, but instead more curious.

"35 days... time flies really quick doesn't it? It's already been 15 days..." Mirae sighed slightly before looking back at Joha with a smile.

"Gotta use the time wisely than right?" Joha smiled back, trying to not show her jealousy show through.

"Haerin!" The two girls had arrived at the school and seeing Haerin, Mirae ran up to her showing her the cupcakes, letting Haerin take one.

Joha watched Mirae as her hand formed a fist, her jaw tightening, quickly releasing the tension as the two call her over.

"Here."

Mirae held out the carefully wrapped cupcake as a small tint of blush brushed her cheeks. Sunwoo looked at her, smiling sweetly as he took the cupcake, admiring the spreaded sprinkles and glistening icing.

"Are you free tonight?"

"Huh?" Mirae looked up at Sunwoo confused, tilting her head to the side.

"One of my friends is having a party at his house tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

"Ummm I'm not too sure, if I'm gonna be honest I've never really been to a party before..."

Sunwoo smiled as Mirae fiddled with her fingers, avoiding eye contact.

"That's okay I'll be there and Eric and Changmin are coming as well if that makes it any better." He scratched the back of his neck, making eye contact with the hesitant girl.

"Okay... I'll go."

Absolutely thrilled, Sunwoo wrapped his arms tightly around Mirae as he hugged her.

"YES YES YES! It'll be great I promise. I'll send you the details later, okay?" Mirae just nodded, pursing her lips together as she looked up at Sunwoo.

He smiled, ruffling her hair before heading off leaving the girl frozen.

"Thanks for the cupcake!" He waved.

The girl merely just held out her hand, completely frozen from the sudden contact and moment. She couldn't breathe, her heart felt like it stopped and her face warmed up really quickly. And then in a split second, her breath came out very quickly, heart racing.

Mirae let out a small scream, smiling like a maniac, holding her face as she did a little dance.

"Mirae!" The girl spun around, her smile not leaving her face as she ran up to her friends.

"Oh Haerin, Joha. I love you two very much." Mirae said as she squeezed the two girls tightly. Haerin and Joha exchanged a confused look as they reluctantly pat Mirae's back laughing awkwardly.

"Uh, what is this strange exceedingly happy energy you got going on here Mirae?" Joha pulled away, letting out a giggle as she looked at her friend in adoration.

"I'm going to a party with Sunwoo tonight!"

"Oh. My. Gosh. No way."

"Yes way!"

Haerin screamed hugging the ecstatic girl as they jumped around in circles.

"I TOLD YOU THIS CONTRACT THING WOULD BE AWESOME!"

While the her two friends were jumping around in joy, Joha couldn't help but feel slightly off. Of course, she was happy for Mirae, but there were things she wanted as well.

Mirae stood in front of the mirror, checking her hair, outfit and makeup one last time before Sunwoo would arrive to pick her up.

She decided to go with a simple look, just to make sure she didn't overdress or underdress. Mirae wore a short black slip dress with lace detailing, pairing them with black boots and gold jewellery. She just let her hair down and simply curled it, and her makeup was simple with little shimmers in her eyes.

The door bell rang, just as Mirae finished her final touches, she grabbed her bag and quickly made her way downstairs.

She opened the door with a bright smile, seeing Sunwoo stand there, looking effortlessly handsome.

"Hi."

"Hi."

The two exchanged an awkward wave, completely stunned by each other's presence.

Sunwoo couldn't help but stare at the girl in front of him, who stood there innocently not knowing the power she had. She was beautiful and for some reason, the confident Sunwoo, couldn't seem to say anything.

"You look great." Mirae said timidly, looking up at him, making Sunwoo avoid eye contact to hide the blush rising on his face.

"Thanks..."

"We should get going, we don't want to be late."

Mirae smiled, taking Sunwoo's hand and pulling him to the car, completely oblivious to the shy mess the boy was in.

You too. YOU TOO. Is that too hard to say! Sunwoo cringed at himself as he started the car driving the two of them to the party.

"Uhh, question."

Sunwoo hummed at the girls voice, signaling her to continue.

"When I introduce myself... do I say I'm your girlfriend... or just friend?"

"Girlfriend? Yeah, girlfriend... there's a high chance Hana will probably be there as well as a lot of people from school..."

Mirae nodded her head, disappointed at the mention of Hana's name. Maybe this was a bad idea...

Upon arriving at the party, a nervousness arose in Mirae's stomach from seeing the amount of people crowded inside the house.

She felt a hand slide it's own into hers as she looked up Sunwoo who gave her an encouraging smile.

"It's okay, I'll be with you the whole time." Mirae nodded, taking in a deep breath and walking in, holding Sunwoo's hand tightly in her own.
