~Anastasia's Point Of View~

Winter was slowly beginning to come to a close. This meant that it was the prime time for quidditch! The Beauxbatons teams had only had a couple of games over the winter. But now, since winter was almost over, Beauxbatons was going to have a ton more! I was beyond excited! Charles and I had been practicing at the pitch for the past week to keep our skills sharp. I still couldn't believe that this would be the final year that Charles would be at Beauxbatons. It felt like time had flown with him and Edmund. Soon enough, we would need two new chasers to replace them. But, even though I would need to replace them in quidditch, no one could replace them in my heart.

Speaking of the heart and Charles, I really wanted to tell him how I felt about him. We had been together for almost six months now, and I wanted him to know that I loved him, but I didn't know how to tell him. I tried to bring it up the week prior when we went out to dinner. But I couldn't get myself to do it. I don't know why all I could think about at that dinner was Draco.

I know, it sounds a little weird to think about another boy when I was with my boyfriend. But I thought about how much I missed his letters and how much I missed writing to him. I wanted to apologize, but not in a letter. I wanted to see him face to face and tell him how sorry I was. The only issue was that someone would surely find out if I were to sneak out of Beauxbatons and apparate outside of Hogwarts.

Anyway, today was going to be like any other with classes and studying. I quickly got out of bed once I woke up and began to get ready for the day. First, I got dressed in my uniform, did my hair, and lastly, did my makeup. Over the past year, makeup had become an important part of my routine. I was very minimalistic with it, but it still made all the difference. Once I was dressed and ready for school, I walked out of my dormitory and made my way to the Great Hall for breakfast. There, I sat with Juliette, Charles, Edmund, and Katerina, as usual. When I sat down, they all looked at me, worried. Charles especially.

"What's wrong?" I asked them.

"Nothing." They all said in unison.

I noticed Juliette and Edmund were hiding what looked to be paper behind their backs. Wordlessly, I stood up and walked around to Juliette and Edmund.

"What are you two hiding there?" I asked.

"My potions essay," Edmund said quickly.

"It's terrible," Juliette said quickly, "That's why he's hiding it."

Edmund gave her a hurtful and confused look. While they were distracted by one another, I snatched the paper from their hands.

"No!" Juliette said.

But it was too late. I had seen all I needed to see to know what was going on.

Charles looked at me and gave me an 'Are you okay?'  face. But I didn't acknowledge him. Instead, I placed the paper down on the table as all my friends looked at me.
