~The Dark Lord's Point of View~

I had written Anastasia almost one hundred and fifty letters in the past two weeks. In all of which, I had been apologizing for the arranged marriage.

I didn't know why I apologized for her overreaction, but Charlotte told me to "act like I had a heart."

I assumed that she had not opened one of my letters until I arrived back at the manor from Albania and was greeted with a response letter from her.

Now I intended to open it.

I sat down at the desk in my office with Anastasia's letter in hand. Once I was seated, I opened the envelope and began to read her letter.

Dad,

As I am writing this letter, I am in the library. Just a few minutes ago, I was approached by a group of boys. Apparently, these morons are friends of a certain Theodore Black. Name sound familiar? Well, it did not to me. I have received all of your letters. Your ability to fake your sympathy is touching...

I can't wait to see you at Easter since I do not plan on returning home.

With no love,

Anastasia

I crumbled the piece of parchment in my hand.

She thought she had a choice about coming home for Easter? How sweet.

She was going to come home for Easter whether she liked it or not.

I already had dinner planned for her and Black during Easter break.

To spite her, I had sent a letter to Headmistress Maxime saying that I wanted her home a couple of days early.

I'm sure I will be sent another letter regarding that sometime today or tomorrow.

However, I did not have time to sit around and wait for my daughter's letter. I had to continue looking.

Looking for the thing that would guarantee Potter's defeat.

The Elder Wand.

I had captured Ollivander in the Malfoy Celler and planned to pay him a visit today. I figured he or Gregorovitch would know where the wand is and who possesses it.

Once I get this knowledge out of them, it will be over for Potter...

"You are to head home early for Easter." Madame Maxime repeated.

My anger bubbled inside of me as I sat in the purple leather chair across from Madame Maxime.

I stared at the fireplace. It was roaring. It was keeping the headmistresses rather large office warm.

"The carriage will leave to take you home Monday evening." She said, standing up from her chair.
