When you can't understand the world
Cup your hands to your ears
The sound of the waves
As heard on a beach
Further close your eyes
And inhale a deep breath
And count to three
As your hair is rustled by the breeze
Let the waves sing
Till your heart calms
Let your lips smile
Until you want to open your eyes
It has always worked for her
To steady herself
And she comes back to reality
Better focused than ever.
