A beautiful smile ,
With a broken heart.
The foolish girl,
Believed all the lies.
She still smiles,
Because now she is wise.
But what of the heart that never healed,
What of the girl who was left behind?
She mastered diplomacy,
Locking her feelings deep inside.
But what of the eyes that cried,
That never really dried.
So well hidden behind her smile,
That she wears so often.
