I have grown to like the dark
Where it's cool and calm
To say the least constant -- that's it's trademark
Though fear is not the intended word
But I quite dislike light in this world
For anything in the light you thought pretty
How can you be sure it's not ugly?
The darkness on the other hand is like a void
Where everything is uncertain
So you contemplate what is wrong or right
Light, though it appears the same
It splits into seven to avoid blame
It tricks our eyes because it's seven faced
We still blame darkness and by light we are amazed.
