Review:
The story is a common apocalypse story. Compared to other apocalypse novel, I think this one is at the bottom of the list. MC is too OP, a lot of unexplained event, the ending is abrupt and a bit mary sue.
MC was betrayed by her neighbors and relatives. She was left and bitten by zombie, ML found her when she is about to die. ML shot her but MC disappear. MC show up in a space with a door connecting to parallel world. There's no explanation why. MC keep juggling between 2 worlds. In peaceful world, she easily got close to people she trusted on other side and she distanced herself from people who left and betrayed her. A little bit pity to MC crush in peaceful world, when MC is missing for 3 months in the peaceful world, he searched her. He was a jerk who accept MC affection but also have relationship with MC cousin. Then MC distanced herself, because he betrayed her on the other world. he tried to get close to MC but got rejected.
ML is in special team in the army. MC join army in order to learn close combat. She successfully join ML team. As her mission or work, it's none. ML just took her around while MC keep juggling 2 worlds... ML got bitten by mutant zombie in the end world, then he disappear and merged with the one in peaceful world due to MC. He couldn't go back to end world.
The end is MC easily made a base. No explanation if she stay in end world or peaceful world. MC father lost his leg when he separated with MC. He is the character with mary sue. MC protect her parent until they are in safety. Then MC father teach orphans, everyone respect his wisdom(?!). He said to MC that he is old and she should do what she should do without minding her parent. He doesn't want to become MC shackle. I think it's a bit late for you to say it, they already in safety and about to make base, if you realize you're MC shackle why not say it in first base which later got destroyed.
An event without meaning, the sun suddenly didn't rise and the abilities are lost, eventually the sun rise again and the ability got back. It was just a plot so there will dead or greedy people. A mental zombie destroying base but they just flee without killing it.
