Overall I like the plot but I can't stand the writing. A lot of descriptions, repeated explanation which actually not needed, making like the readers are very forgetful so needed to be reminded on every chapters....
For example, ML is a possessive, sometimes he'll act angry without reason to MC because he's jealous, then every time author will explain why he's jealous and he's only acting to get MC compensation etc... I tried to keep reading for 3 days and can't hold it till the end.

ML is rebirth while MC transmigrated, a bit like Transmigrator Meet Reincarnator, the diff is ML is from timeline where MC already transmigrated.
ML is doted by current emperor so he act overbearing without reasons. Turns out because he's a ghost child, the emperor kill his mother then cut out the stomach and take him out. The emperor felt guilty so he compensate ML as long as he's not after the throne, the emperor will indulge him.
MC transmigrated to a minister family from birth (she remember modern world from baby). She arrived in capital around 14 yo and ML already stalk her from 6-8 yo.
The past lifetime still not cleared (this is why I tried to keep reading). In the past life, ML is more docile. Somehow he got chased out from capital, then MC saved him. It was said at that time MC is having difficult life too but still saving him. MC got expelled from her family and married a marquis who got suppressed by emperor. Not sure why MC expelled herself in order to save her family. The marquis also a general was sent to a war with 300 thousand soldiers, which actually emperor scheme to kill the marquis. They lost the war with 300 thousand soldiers death. MC should be helping the marquis during the war and saving the ML around this time. ML want her to sleep with him in exchange for the marquis life. MC agreed which making ML angry. Then ML found out MC still a virgin despite marriage for a long time. ML confused why MC keep defending the marquis also disregard her own family. Then somehow MC died to save the marquis. ML become the emperor and rule in tyranny. Then he died and rebirth to 10yo.
ML already prepared everything and making his enemy like a puppet. His priority is getting MC love while he need the throne to ensure no one can force MC to a sad ending.
It was mentioned that MC also used to kill people when needed, but currently I think MC is more like white lotus. MC always prioritize her family well being and choose to sacrifice herself. In her past life (modern world), she had a happy family until her father bankrupt and maybe having a mistress or something I forgot. In summary, because she got broken home in the past, and now she got a loving family, she want to sacrifice herself in order keeping her family save.
Things I don't like about MC:
- she despise concubine and shu children but her attitude toward them is kind. Once her father want to take her maid as concubine, she got angry and kill the maid. Also despise her father and mother who accept all concubine and saying she love the MC father. Fyi her father already has 2 concubine also several shu children, why only angry now?
- there's MC cousin who keep hating MC and keep scheming but always lose. She married a prince as concubine. Her family despise her because she act haughty. When she found out that the prince didn't love her and only want her family backing, she regret it. She tried suicide in front of MC. A lot of dying messages which said she want to go back to her family not as prince concubine. MC said okay and force the prince to write a release concubine for her sister, which was said utter humiliation for the prince. He may agree if they take the sister secretly but MC still force him to make it open. Yeah no wonder why she got forced to death in her past life, she act without thinking, offending everyone and like white lotus, forgiving her enemy just because she's her family.
