Summary

The Emperor Mu Huai died early in his previous life and never married. Before he passed away, he made the deceased daughter of the Rong Family as Empress, and specially ordered his younger brother to bury her with him in the imperial mausoleum.

Review:
I love the interaction between MC and ML, both of them looks OP but they did have shortcoming. I hope there're extra chapters for other characters, sadly none. But I really like how the antagonist characters got their retribution.

MC father and mother were from poor family, her father succeed passing the exam and become official in rites department. MC mother died early and ask MC father took a concubine. MC father took a concubine and have a son but he always alienated from the concubine and the son. He only got close to MC. MC is close to her half-brother and spoiled him. Then MC father was exiled due to a mistake, he died on the way, MC grandma and the concubine also died while MC brother is missing. MC went into the palace as servant. She disguise her face because she is too beautiful. She went to ML place after her old master died. MC old master is a concubine who died due to dystocia. MC found out that she died because of the empress scheme, but MC couldn't do anything. ML bedded MC due to a the emperor's concubine scheme. ML found out MC true face and he began to like MC. MC got pregnant and afraid ML future wife will kill her so she ran away. MC died when she ran away. ML knew that MC run away after he became the crown prince. Then he got news about MC death, he grieved. He become the emperor but never took another woman. He passed the throne to his brother then after he died he saw how his brother never take care the country and make chaos in political. ML rebirth to when MC is about to die. ML took his cousin and save MC.
ML knew that MC died because of the empress family. Empress want to match ML with her niece, the niece is jealous to MC because she know that MC is pregnant, she plan MC assassination. ML cleared MC's father name and said that empress brother is corrupt, ML beheaded him and killed the empress niece.
The empress still saved because of the emperor protection. He didn't want ML to kill the empress after he died so he made a decree. ML took MC as his legal wife. MC gave birth to a son and ML named him as crown prince. There are some conflicts due to ML father's concubines but ML took care all of them. The late empress and troublesome concubines died while the rest were sent to temple.
There are other events like MC brother was adopted by Falcon Khan and he want to take MC away. In the last chapter MC have 2 sons and was said to be pregnant again.
