Review:
A good calming story. Not much conflict or emotional but the flow is good. ML and MC are OP on their own expertise but they do have their own weakness.
MC found out that her boyfriend cheated her and broke up with him. She then knew that the boyfriend, Han Chuan already love someone else. But his parent didn't approve it because the woman already divorced once. HC then plan to find another woman and divorced her so he can be with his first lover. The first lover didn't object it but she went abroad, hanging HC. HC date MC and he plan to broke up with her later but he realize that he become confuse, he still love the first loved but he didn't want to leave MC. He thought he can coax MC back. But MC already met ML and boldly chase him. MC thought ML is a top host in a bar. ML never correct her because he thought he won't meet her again. Later he began to care about her and accept to date MC. He is about to reveal the truth but MC said she didn't like people from Finance and the bar owner should be shrewd which is ML. ML then keep lying to MC.
ML father is a drunkard who abused ML and his mother, he died when ML in junior high school. He fell from 5th floor, everyone is suspicious that ML pushed him. ML mother got mental sickness. ML once found out his mother affair so he got a bit traumatized. He avoid interact with his mother because his mother said he is the same as his father. ML went abroad for study, he went back after his graduation. 2 weeks later his mother hang herself. ML quitely arranged her funeral, his friends never knew it after some times. ML plan to live alone and never marry until he met MC. He is afraid he will become like his father but he also couldn't let go MC. He went to psychiatrist and daoist which both said he need to be cautious with marriage. But in the end ML thought that was bull and still pursue MC.
MC found out ML identity and went away. ML chase her again. They got together again.
MC parent divorced when she is 1 yo, she lived with her grandparent. Her father soon remarried and have 2 children. He never care about MC. MC always avoid conflict so she is a calm person. It was repeatedly told that MC is a warm person and easy to get close. She is a painter, her works slowly become famous. After her break up with her boyfriend, she thought supporting boyfriend with money should be safer. So she decide to support ML with money.
