Review:
I got a high expectations for this novel, I thought it will be a lot of conflict involving several novels plot, but it turns out a self improvement with romance. The story itself is actually nice, but since lately I felt bored reading fluffy romance so I think it's a bit bland. I skipped a lot of part. The story flow is good, I feel their relationship progress naturally.
MC father and mother run away leaving MC and her grandmother a big debt. Fortunately they have a six story building in slum area and rent it to people. I feel a bit contradicting when it was said MC and her grandma are kind and caring about people but they never initially ask about the other situation. Zhao Pianpian is pregnant, she rent a room with MC. Since she is inconvenient, she asked MC grandma to prepare meal and she will pay more. MC and her grandma help her. Then MC dream that ZP is a protagonist of a novel. She was a secretary and has sex relationship with the CEO. The CEO already engage and never thought to make her as girlfriend. So ZP run away after she knew she is pregnant. The CEO then realize that he is in love with ZP. After knowing ZP story, MC chose not to do anything. She felt it is not good if she change the plot because she think it's for ZP. Here I thought MC just doesn't want to trouble herself with other people mess.
The one who rent in basement is actually will become a emperor in acting. MC also didn't do anything except giving him a few meals to live some impression. Soon they become close friend.
A mother and son also rent on the same floor as MC. MC dream that the son is abused by his mother. After he grow up, he become a success CEO and hates woman. At first MC think she can't do anything about it. Until she heard that the mother locked her son in a room without light for days. MC consult with ML. She took the son and threaten the mother. The son has trauma. MC called the grandmother and make her took the son away from the mother.
The rest is about MC and ML business. ML has amnesia, his family never search him. He start business with MC. They got closer and ML realize his feeling to MC. MC found out that ML grandpa actually let him in poor to give him a lesson. In the end ML come back to his family even though he didn't remember his past much. They got married and have a daughter.
In between, there's also a transmigrated woman. I think her part is a filler and not important, it's really redundant. She read a novel about ML and MC. She loves ML and dislike MC because she think MC didn't do much but was loved by ML. She tried to get close with ML but instead make him angered. In the end she went away.
