Sword, spear, bow, and shield these are the 4 primary Cardinal heros of old. But every so often there is a rare occurrence where there is a 5th hero a mystery hero whose power is always random.

Both heros follow the short man named Beloukas to a circus looking tent who turns out to be a slave trader and offers slaves to them. First he offered a way too powerful and most expensive slave but then he suggest demi humans as Naofumi follows him Y/N get attracted to two fox girls holding each other one is silver and the other is brown.
Y/N: I take you two are sisters and don't want to be separated?
Both nod in agreement and opened the cage.
Y/N: come with me and I promise you two can stay together but you have to help me out in life agreed?
Both hesitantly agree and come out of the cage.
Y/N: May I give you both a name?
Silver: That would be nice sir.
Y/N: Don't call me sir call me Y/N. I'll name you Jack * points at silver* and you Tamomo.
later the three catch up with Beloukas then he starts to put a slave crests on them Naofumi bought a Tanuki girl who was fairly sick named Raphtalia then they head to Erhard to get weapons for the girls all three got knives and they all went out to and let the girls practice on killing balloons then later at nigh they are all camping the girls are all asleep but then all three woke up screaming and crying bloody murder. Y/N and Naofumi help the girls deal with the nightmares. Next day both head to Lute village where they find out a mine near here has potential to make money off of so the group heads there. Naofumi gets a new shield the " Airstrike shield" which summons a green shield. Y/N gets a notification from his Hud.
Y/N: Notice 2 new cards detected. Acquire for new power. OOOOOO I wonder who it could be now.
As they both enter the mine and starts mining the gems as the girl screams as they both turn around seeing a two headed dog and a giant snake.
Both heros: Crap
Y/N: NAOFUMI DEAL WITH THE DOG WE'VE GOT THE SNAKE. SUMMON LANCER CLASS LEONIDAS.
As he shouts he gets a new weapon since well the outfit wouldn't be to useful.

Y/N charges in with the girls and attacks. Y/N distracts it as the twins stabs it and cuts it up when the snake attacked Y/N would block the attacks and finally at the end Y/N used the spear as a Javelin and throws it at the snakes head killing it.
Y/N: Good job girls* high fives them both*
The snake disappears and two cards appear instead.
Y/N: No way Jack the ripper and Tamomo-no-mae....granted they are useful useful but they aren't my cups of tea.* Gets a notice* Notice you can give cards to people within your party...*Smiles evily and says sing songy* OHHHH GIRLSSSSS I GOT SOMETHING FOR YOUUUUUU.
They both walk over and sees the cards.
Tamomo: This one has my name on it
Jack: This one has my name on it too
Y/N: Exactly girls take the cards and hold them close to your chest
They follow the instructions and begins to glow
Tamomo: Whoa I feel awesome
Jack: I feel funny
They both finish transforming looking different.
