Third person's POV

Outside, Felix is standing in front of his car staring at Ayumi's room. He is hoping that Ayumi will look outside. He was standing there for an hour and was hesitating to call Ayumi.

He wanted to talk to her for the last time...

For the very last time...

He opened his phone and saw a lot of messages from his friends and brother. They were all looking for him but he refused to answer their messages or calls. He sent a message to Ayumi.


To: Ayumi

Let's talk? I'm here outside. I'll wait.


Meanwhile, Ayumi in her room just read the message from Felix. Her tears stopped falling again. She stood up and looked at the window, she saw Felix leaning on his car.

"He was there for an hour" Sangyeon said as he opened the door "You should talk to him. If you are okay with it, clear things between you two. It will hurt even more if you will leave things unsaid"

Ayumi nodded "Don't worry. I'll talk to him"

Sangyeon smiled at her and left.

She fixed herself and went downstairs. She saw no one at the leaving room. As she went outside, she just stared at Felix for a few minutes. She missed him so much.

Felix looked up and saw Ayumi "Thank you-"

"I wanted to talk to you too. There is no need to thank me" Ayumi said

Felix smiled and nodded.

"What do you want to talk about?" Ayumi asked him without any expression

"I... I just wanted to tell you what I really feel. You said you were in love with me while I was pretending?" Felix

Ayumi is staring at him.

"I had a crush on you before. I like you so much that I suddenly focused on my studies for you. I didn't even know being your rival will make us closer to each other. Not until the accident happened, I thought I don't have any right to love you because I killed your Father" Felix

Ayumi was quiet the whole time.

"I didn't know dating you will make my feelings even worse. I was happy and hurt at the same time. Ayumi... Everything I showed is true. I am sincere with my feelings and I love you so much. I love you that I am blaming myself for doing such stupid thing. If only could turn back time, I will. I am so in love with you that I keep praying that I should've not drove that night. Ayumi, I love you. You are my world" his voice cracked

She chuckled.

He held her hands "Say everything you want. Do what you want to do to me. I would be happy to see you not keeping everything to yourself. Please, Ayumi. That will also lessen the pain I have. Hurt me if you want. I'll be fine with it"

"Ridiculous" she said and removed his hand, she was about to go-

Felix held her wrist "Please, do what you want. I can't let you lock yourself in your room with a lot of thoughts and pain. Ayumi-"

She slapped him "Was that what you want? Do you think hurting you will lessen the pain I am feeling? It will be worse than that! I can't hurt you because I fucking love you!"

Felix smiled because finally she is saying what she wanted to say.

"I promised myself to introduce the first guy I will love to my Father, but how can I?! There is something that happened in the past that involves you both?! How am I supposed to face him and tell him that I am fucking in love with the suspect of his death?! How am I supposed to tell my Dad that I can't fucking hate you even thought you were the suspect?! How am I supposed to be happy knowing that my Father is dead and you are the suspect?! Do you know how much I hate myself for defending you instead of seeking for justice? I wanted to put you in jail but I don't want you to suffer, Felix! Do you want to know why?" Ayumi

Felix was just staring at her with full of thoughts on his mind.

"I love you and I don't want you to be in pain again. I don't think we can still be together. It will hurt us both. Your brother was right, we will end up hurting each other. I don't want to hurt you, Felix." Ayumi

He nodded and smiled "Don't worry. I'm not here to beg you to come back to me. I just wanted to see you for the last time and ask you a favor, love. I will really miss you"

Ayumi stayed quiet.

"Can you hug me for the last time? I won't bother you anymore after that. I promise" Felix

Ayumi is hesitating.

"Please?" he whispered

Ayumi took a step forward and hugged Felix as tight as she can.

"I love you, Ayumi. You will always be my universe" he whispered and hugged her back

"I love you Felix even if it hurts. I still love you and that won't change" she said and started crying

"Remember what I told you?" Felix asked and let go of the hug

Ayumi looked at him with teary eyes.

He wiped her tears "I want you to be happy even if it's not with me"
