"No Thomas, don't!" I screamed, pleading with the boy, having to choose between his two bestfriends.

"Tommy do it," Newt told him as tears flooded my eyes.

"I ca-," Thomas began, before getting cut off by Newt.

"Do it or I will," Newt shouted before calming "I don't want her to see me like this,".

Thomas placed the gun to Newt's head with a pained expression on his face.

"Thomas," I cried pleading, I couldn't have the man I love die "Newt please,".

A gun shot went off as Newt's limp body fell to the ground. I scramble towards him as Thomas tried to hold me back, failing.

"Newt," I whispered threw my tears holding his face in my hands as his teary eyes looked back at me.

"I love you Y/n/n," Newt spoke "Remember me. Remember not as the man this viruis made me become, but the man I was before, then move on. Move on. Do that for me,".

"Newt, I can't," I cried as Newt struggled to bring his hand to my face, wipe a tear from my cheel

"Please?" Newt asked "For me?". I nodded slightly, avoiding eye contact.

"Leave."

"What?" I questioned, my head snapping back to look at Newt.

"Leave, before you see me at my worst," Newt said "Before you see me die. Thomas take her,".

Thomas grabbed my arm trying to drag me away as I ripped my arm from his grip.

"Y/n come on," Thomas grabbing me by the waist dragging me back to the van as I struggled agaisnt his grip.

I broke down crying in the van as Thomas placed an arm around my shoulder, crying aswell.

"Not all stories have happy endings," Thomas muttered.
