It's a few days later and Laura has flown home from LA. Casey is on shift and Kelly picks Laura up
"Miss Russell!" Kelly says as Laura shoots him a look
"Luitenent!" Laura says as he gives her a hug
"So did you get everything sorted out there?" Kelly asks as he starts the car
"Yeah. Chris just went though a bad break up" Laura explains
"We've all been there" Kelly says as he smiles
Laura gets home and Casey has gone to drop Emma off at the airport. She is spending a week and a half in Puerto Rico with Gabby. Laura gets everything ready to tell Casey and he walks through the door an hour later
"Matt!" Laura says as she runs up and gives him a hug
"Hey" Casey says as she pulls away
Casey then walks into the kitchen to discover a sign on the table along with scan pictures and the positive test.
"No way" Casey says as he picks up the test
"Your going to be a dad" Laura says as she puts a hand on her belly
Casey runs over and picks Laura up
"I'm going to be a dad!" Casey yells as he spins her
Laura gives him a kiss when Kelly walks in
"Woah! Why so happy?" Kelly asks slightly disgusted
"I'm gonna be a dad!" Casey shouts enthusiastically
"Wow who'd you knock up this time?" Kelly asks as Casey hits his shoulder
"Congratulations Laura" Kelly says as he gives her a hug
"Now I just need to brave telling the district" Laura mutters
It's the next day and Laura is headed down to the district. They have been like brothers and sisters to her growing up. But she is dreading telling Voight the most. She walks in and everyone smiles
"Laura!" Hayley shouts as she gives her a hug
"Hey!" Laura replies
"What's up?" Jay asks
"Laura! What do we owe the pleasure?" Voight asks
"I actually came here to show you guys something" Laura says as she grabs her purse
"What is it?" Kim asks
Laura pulls out her scan picture and turns around
"Surprise!" Laura shouts enthusiastically
"Oh my god!!!" Hayley says as he runs up to Laura
"Ahhh!" Kim says following Hayley
Hayley takes a closer look at the picture
"She's so cute!" Hayley says
"She? We don't even know the gender yet!" Laura says as Hayley smiles
"I know it's going to be a girl! I'm always right with these things" Hayley says as Laura looks at Voight who has tears in his eyes
"I'm proud of you kid" Voight says as he gives Laura a hug
