It's the next morning and Casey has gone to collect Emma, leaving Laura with Loren
"Your going to have the best big sister in the world!" Laura says as she smiles at Loren
Emma then runs in
"Is that my sister?" Emma asks as she stands next to Laura bed
"Yes Emma!" Casey says as he stands next to her
"Can I hold her?" Emma asks as she strokes Loren's hand
"Of course Miss Emma!" Laura says as Emma sits on the seat
Casey then picks up Loren and hands her to Emma
"She's so small" Emma says as she admires Loren
It's an hour later and Casey has taken Emma back home to spend the night with Kelly. Laura is sitting up on her bed when Chris appears at her door
"Chris!" Laura says enthusiastically
"Hey!" Chris says as she hugs her
"How come your here?!" Laura asks as the rest of the team appear at the door
"We had a case over here and thought we would stop by" Hondo adds as he smiles
"Well would you all like to meet Chris's goddaughter Loren?" Laura asks as she's carefully picks her up
"I love her already!" Chris says as she strokes Loren's hand
"Take her" Laura adds as she hands Loren to Chris
"She's beautiful" Chris says as the team walk over to her
"Has someone actually made Christina Alonso soft?" Street adds as they all laugh
"Oh shut up street!" Chris says as she sits down with Loren
"Hello! I'm Maya! Lorens new nurse!" Maya says as she walks in the door
"Oh, I thought Loren was all done with her checks?" Laura asks as she looks at Chris
"Unfortunately the doctor missed one, so if I can just take her now" Maya asks
"Uhh yeah sure" Laura replies as Chris hands her Loren
"We'll be back as soon as we can!" Maya says as she walks out the door with Loren
"So how are you holding up?" Deacon asks
"I'm good, Emma adores her already" Laura adds as she smiles
"Who wouldn't!" Chris adds as she smiles
"You would make a great mom Chris" Hondo explains
Just then a frantic doctor runs in followed by security
"Please tell me Loren's with you!" The doctor yells
"Uhh no. The nurse...Maya took her?" Laura explains
"Do you know where she took her?!" The doctor yells
"What's going on?" Laura asks
"That woman was one of our psychiatric patients! She done jail time for murdering her friends new born baby" The doctor explains
"What" Laura asks as tears form in her eyes
