"It's not Loren" Laura yelled
Casey sighed next to her, looking at the body
Casey and Laura walked out hand in hand, Laura is still struggling so much as any parent would be
"That poor girls parents" Laura said
"I know, I would never wish that upon anyone" Casey said
"What if Loren is dead? But they just haven't found her? She's going to be all alone Casey" Laura said
"Don't think like that, Loren is going to come home, I'm sure of it" Casey said
It was later that night and Laura had just made her way over to Chris's
"Anything?" Chris asked
" I had to identify a body today, it wasn't Loren but I had to look a little baby girl who had been tortured so much that she died. That can't happen to Loren Chris! It just can't!" Laura yelled
"Hey Hondo is working around the clock to try and get her back okay? We're not going to let anything bad happen to her okay?" Chris said
"We're telling Emma tonight, how can I explain to her that her little sister might not come home" Laura asked
"She's going to come home okay, I promise" Chris smiled
Laura arrived home to see Emma and Casey sat on the couch waiting for her
"We've gotta talk to you kiddo" Casey said
"Yeah?" Emma asked
"So you know how you came to the hospital and met your sister but she's not been here for the past few months?" Laura asked
"Yup" Emma said, confused
"Well you know there is a lot of bad people out there who do very bad things" Casey said
"When we were at the hospital, a lady came inside and took your sister" Laura said as she wiped tears from her face
"Where did they take her?" Emma asked
"We're not sure kiddo but we've got everyone trying to help your sister okay, so you must not worry!" Casey said
"Okay dad" Emma said unsure of how to react
It was the next day and Laura had just gotten a call from Emma's school
"What's up?" Casey asked
"Emma's been in a fight?" Laura said
"What?!" Casey yelled
Laura and Casey ran down to the school and was sat in with her head teacher
"All we know is that a boy came up to Emma and stated that her little sister would never make it, and that she deserved to be abducted" The head teacher said
"That son of a -" Casey said
"We're expelling the boy who made the comments and giving Emma a 3 day weekend to cool off so I suggest you let her blow off some steam or talk to her" the head teacher said
"We will, thank you" Laura said as they walked out
"We really need to get Loren back, it's affecting Emma now matt" Laura said...
