Laura packs up her things and heads to the firehouse.
"Miss Russell!" Kelly yells
"Luitenent!" Laura says as he hugs her
"I'll never understand why you do that" Casey adds
"It's just our thing! Right Luitenent?" Laura asks
"Hell yeah" Kelly says as he smiles
All three of them walk in and sit down in the common room
"It's time for morning briefing get your asses up!" Boden yells before spotting Laura
"Excuse me! That's no way to talk to a lady! Your welcome too Laura!" Boden adds as Laura laughs
They all gather in the common room and Laura stands at the back
"Okay summer cleaning announcements!" Boden says as he grabs his clipboard
"Ugh!" Herrmann says as he sighs
"Shut up! So Kelly and Casey have the kitchen. Herrmann and Mouch have the bathroom. Capp and Tony have the app floor. Cruz and Otis the three trucks" Boden reads
Boden then gives out the rest of the assignments and he turns to Casey and Kelly
"Anyone have anything to add?" Boden asks
"I think Casey does?" Kelly says as he smiles
"Uhh yeah! Thanks chief!" Casey says as he makes his way to the front
"What's up Captain?" Cruz ask
"So we have a new candidate staring!" Casey announces
"Huh? I wasn't told about this?" Boden adds
"Uhh yeah but their going to be calling me a different name from you guys" Casey explains as Laura and Kelly smile
"Okay Captain are you feeling okay?" Capp asks
"Yeah? What will they be calling you?" Herrmann asks
"Dad" Casey adds as everyone is confused for a second
"Oh my god!" Cruz yells
"Surprise!" Laura says as she shows them the scan
"Ahh! Congratulations Laura!" Otis says as he walks up to Laura and gives her a hug
"Your going to make a great mom!" Herrmann says as he hugs her after Otis
Boden then walks over and gives Laura a hug
"You guys are going to make amazing parents" Boden says as he smiles
"Luitenent? Why aren't you congratulating them?" Capp asks
"Because they don't deserve to have a kid! Especially Laura! She's such an unfit mother!" Kelly yells as Laura smiles
"Kelly she's standing right there!" Herrmann adds
"It's okay guys. Kelly probably has tons of children running around Chicago that haven't met their father yet because he doesn't know they exist!" Laura yells as Kelly walks over to her
When he looks at her they both burst out laughing
"You idiots" Herrmann says as everyone laughs
"Congratulations again Miss Russell" Kelly says as he smiles
"Thank you Luitenent" Laura adds
