"Mate I forgot about the steps." Enzo adds while I lift Alessia out of the car. Once we left the ballroom Alessia's legs gave way and she passed out, it was easier if she did pass out because now we can just carry her.
"Enzo, you can go ill carry her up the stairs." I say as I gently lift her out the back of the car and carry her in my arms.
"Really are a princess aren't you Alessia?" I ask and she smiles however her eyes remain closed. Enzo closes the car doors for me and locks it before he scales the steps a little bit faster than I am able to.
"It's ok Alessia it will figure itself out." I huff as I begin climbing up the stairs to my parents house in America. Normally we stay in Italy as that's where the rest of my family is but for tonight's event me and my siblings came to America. Hence why we and my brother and sister are staying in the house.
"Matty why could he do this to me." She sobs and i shake my head as she mentions that asshole.
"I couldn't tell you. I really couldn't, he's an idiot." I announce and she sniff with a chuckle.
"He'll get what's coming to him. I can promise you that." I announce and she places her hand in my chest. I lift her higher up as we continue to make our way to the door.
"He chose her over me." She cried and i huff watching her break a part in my arms.
"It's a very messy situation Sia, as well as it being very fresh. The wounds haven't healed and seeing the two of them today is going to be like pouring gas on the fire but you know what." I say carrying her into the house and making our way up the marble stairs.
"Your a Romano, ok. You hear that, you can be knocked down but don't stay down to long. You can cry for a while and you can sulk but you get back up." I smile as she nods her head however her eyes remain closed.
"As well as me and Enzo can just kill them both." I announce earning a laugh from her as I back into her bedroom pushing the door open with my back. Enzo had opened the door and prepared her bed ready just for me to put her in the bed.
"Your ok princess. You'll be ok." I say placing her in her bed and lifting the sheets higher making sure she's comfy.
"Enzo and I are just down the hall. Mom and dads are arriving in the morning as well so if you need anyone just call in." I say fine we'll knowing she will but take me up on my offer but she's my sister.
"buonanotte, sorella" I announce stepping away from the bed after I've given her a kiss in the forehead. I close the door and sigh before making my way back down stairs. [Translation: Goodnight, sister.]
Walking into the living room Enzo is sat in the couch staring into the fire holding a glass of whiskey in both hands. He raises his left hand and i take the glass from him as I stand leaning against the marvel fireplace.
"What we going to do about Alessia?" He asks and i shrug my shoulder letting out a massive sigh.
"We'll figure it out. We always do." He huffs and i nod taking a sip of my drink.
