he knew he would stay,
but it felt wrong to say.
she made him promise.
she was so worried.
he didn't like her worried,
especially not over something so insignificant as him.
so he promised.
but it felt so wrong.
too wrong.
he wondered if there was more to his thoughts than he'd realized.
he wondered if he meant them.
he wondered when he'd fall off the edge.
he wondered when he'd break his promise.
