he thought he was freehe thought he'd flown out the cage door
but the truth is, he'd never left
the cage got a little bigger
the bars grew translucent
he couldn't see it, but he was still imprisoned within them
and he still is
his is a cage without a lock
there's no getting out of this now
there's no key to unlock him
trapped, trapped, trapped,
just like he's said before
stupid of him to think
that freedom was a possibility
