There's no telling how long it's been. Seems like it's been forever since everyone developed these abilities. It started with one science experiment and with it success it spread to other areas and then soon every nation and country and ever person living had some odd ability. You could call it odd but it was definetly quick to become the new normal

It brought about what you call the "New Era"
Having an ability is normal yes and everyone used to be on equal playing grounds only now

Well now not everyone is on a equal playing field. If your a Purebred your considered an Imperial you basically run the whole area and your treated with high class oh and your Rich nothing ever goes wrong for you. But if your the product of a mixed marriage of people with two different abilities your treated like the plague and well you Rank as a rebel and an outlier. Your a halfbreed the product of having mixed abilities. Not all halfbreeds have it rough but most do and to make it worse your also usually pinned as the villain even if it wasn't your fault.

At anyrate make what you want of it, this is what the world is now.
