We were basically lab rats, I remember it all but i keep quiet. The other 200 dead why, by our hands. they were made our targets. They would bring in more but they paled in comparison, we were trained and the shadow tech it was created and adapted to us only we could control it. The authorities found out about the whole thing Jace was injured terribly in the whole fight between us 4 the athourites and the scientists, he ended up hitting his head real bad and gained amnesia but still retained enough to understand the shadow
Kuro has always been off her rocker since she was brought from her high school. She already rolled with troublesome people and had killed in her past this was just a glorified thing for her. She and Nia were the first real successful ones on the project. The scientists in this project Kuros parents, cruel i know
Nia myself and jace were all pulled at random into this experiment. We didn't know what we were doing or what to expect Nia was given a bracelet like kuros, while jace and i were given necklaces, they were identical in color but one had my initial the other had his. Again we didn't understand why or what this was we just went with it. Eventually we came to learn that this was kind of genome editing project. Basically we were being engineered to be able to become literal shadows and from there to become trained killers. We don't exactly understand why or even how we are the way we are now.
When the authorities raided that apartment that day, the researchers were arrested and we were supposed to be too but were able to escape because of our shadow. Our names were erased from log books and the only things left remaining of who we used to be, our families memories, legal documents and the pictures from before this experiment. We are the remaining four from Project shadow, basically a shadow clan of killers, messed up isn't it but we were turned into this and it's all we know. -Joules
