"I'm already beat from cleaning all day.. Now we have to wash a hundred windows, too..." Grim whined.

You did most of the work though.

You two decided to clean up your dorm a bit. Well you decided, Grim wanted to sleep.

"Well, there's no going back now. Let's just get this over with."

"That Ace guy is sure taking his sweet time. Who does he think he is, making me wait! I'm ticked off!" Grim stated.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure we'll all be friends soon." you said back, looking at the bright side.

"Oh you and your happiness! It's gonna get you killed some day!" Grim argued and you just scratched his ears.

"Aw, the great Grim is worried about me. How cute. Don't worry about me." You said and smiled.

Much waiting later...

"...I don't care what happened, there is no way he's this late! Wait, he wouldn't just skip out, right!"

"Well it's not impossible..."

"I'm not gonna let him get away with putting all the punishment on us!" Grim screeched.

"Let's go Y/n! We're gonna catch Ace and make him do all the window washing!"

"I'm gonna stay here and see if he'll come okay? Please don't do anything stupid. I'll start washing the windows." You said and Grim nodded.

"Okay I'll catch that bastard!"

Grim then went to Ace's classroom.

'Where's Ace! We're not gonna let you hide away!' he thought.

".....Ah, there's nobody here!?"

"No, I'm here." A portrait said.

"Fffgyyyaaa! The picture talked!"

"What now? It's not uncommon for paintings to talk at this school." The wall portrait stated.

"The Wall Lady over there, the Wall Gentleman over here, everyone can speak. Portraits can speak because they have a mouth. That's normal, you know? Rather than restlessly floating in the air, I've been sitting still on this wall perfectly for more than fifty years. That aside, who are you looking for?"

"A guy named Ace. He's got a heart mark on his face and hair that sticks up." Grim explained to the portrait.

"Ah, I know him. He's one of the freshmen that started today. He went back to his dorm not too long ago..."

"What?! So he did try to get away! Which way did he go?" Grim asked furiously.

"The entrance is behind the East Building."

"Alright! I'm going after him!"

"No way I'm washing a 100 windows. Gonna head home..." Ace said to himself, not knowing that Grim had found him.

"Hey you!" Grim yelled at Ace.

"Geh!! Found me!" Ace shouted and started running away.

"Jerk!! Hold up!! I won't let you be the only one to escape!" Grim screeched and chased after him.

"It's not fair for only you to get out of it! I want to skip out too!" Grim screeched and continued to chase after Ace.

"...Huh?" A dark blue-haired boy asked.
