"Ah.. Why did it turn into something like this? Today is really not my day.." Ace whined and you patted his back for comfort.

"Now isn't the time for mumbling! Let's go! Mirror, mirror on the wall! Light our way to Dwarfs' Mine!" Deuce chanted and you all went into the mirror.

Y/n's pov

"So this is Dwarfs' Mine.. It used to be prosperous, thanks to magic crystal mining but.." Deuce muttered.

"Uuh.. Feels like something could jump out..." Grim shivered quietly.

"Oh, there's a house back there. Let's go ask them about the mine."

"B-but, guys... I-It looks abondoned... I'm scared..." I muttered.

"You're scared? How lame." Ace mocked and i looked at the ground.

"Ace shut up! Hey it's okay! We're here." Deuce tried to cheer me up.

"U-um... Deuce if you don't mind... Can I hold your hand while we're there...?" I asked, and trembled. The dark is scary..

"O-oh.. If it makes you feel better then of course." Deuce said with a blush.

I quickly grabbed Deuce's hand and squeezed it tightly.

3rd person pov

Deuce couldn't help but blush. Y/n's hand was warm and Deuce could feel a cheery energy flowing through him.

That's right. You were using magic unintentionally. You knew that Grim was also scared and tried to sent off positive energy.

Ace and Grim soon felt it too. The warm feeling that brushed over their heart.

Deuce then knocked on the door.

"Good evening.. I guess it really is abandoned.. It's a mess in here." Deuce said as all the group walked in the house.

"Puwah! I got a spider web in my face.. Peh! Peh!" Grim said and tried to put the web out of his face with his paws.

You giggled and helped him with the spider web.

"Aren't the tables and chairs on the small side? Are they for kids? One, two... There's seven! So many!" Ace looked at the size of the chairs and the table.

"This was probably a lively home when Dwarfs' Mine flourished." Deuce spoke and you nodded.

"I wonder what it looked like before it was abondoned... It seems like a cozy home." You said and looked around.

"Alright that's it for looking around. Let's go to the cave now." Ace ordered and you left the abondoned yet cozy house.

"W-we're gonna go in that pitch black cave!?" Grim stuttered and clutched onto your arm.

"It's okay Grim! Come here." You said and hugged him close. You kept him in your arms and he just started muttering about how he's not scared and all.

"Alright then I'll be taking the lead." Ace said and stepped in the cave.

"Wait!" Deuce said and stopped in his tracks.

"Ugh. What."

"Something.. is there!" Deuce said and pointed in front of him.

You looked at where he pointed, and there were yet again, ghosts.

"Eeek!?" Grim screamed and clutched onto your arm for dear life.

"He he he! Our first visitor in ten years!" Ghost A cheered.

"Make yourselves at home. For eternity!" Ghost B shouted and smirked.
