A month had passed & I had finally gotten myself emancipated from my parents. I moved out of the house & stayed with Omari, I had a job and everything was going good. I blocked both of my parents numbers because I didn't want anything to do with them. Especially my mama. Remi and Cari visited on weekends whenever they weren't with my dad and sometimes they'd stay throughout the week. After I took my mom to court, she ended up divorcing my dad like she said she would. I didn't know if they still stayed in contact or not but either way, I didn't care.

On my birthday, Omari came in my room with a blunt in his hands & Dani and Monay behind him. Omari: "Wake up niggaaaa!" Dani: "Happy birthdayyyy!" I smiled and sat up then I said "Thank you 😂" Omari handed me the blunt and said "Take a hit til I say stop." Me: "Hell nawl 😭" Omari: "Mane just do det shit." Dani: "Come on, for da birthday." I sighed and said "Ight fine whateva." He handed me a lighter & I lit the blunt and took a hit off. I inhaled for as long as I could until I started coughing. Omari: "Aht aht. I aint say stop"

I kept coughing then I tried handing him the blunt and he shook his head. Monay started laughing and Dani said "She dying 😭" Omari: "Try it again" Me: "Nigga I-" I coughed again then I said "Fuck." Omari: "Come on nigga 🤣 Take another hit until you can do it without coughing" Monay: "She don't smoke much so dats gon take a while" Me: "Exactly 😒" Omari: "Shiddd you betta try. Dis is good practice" I rolled my eyes and said "Nigga I just woke up & you tryna kill me" Dani: "On her birthday too 🙄" Me: "Facts" Omari: "Aye nigga you one year closer to being a legal adult."

Me: "Mane ion care bout dat 😭" Monay: "Shiddd she livin an adult life already." Me: "At least I aint gotta deal wit nunna da shit I was before." Omari: "Nigga quit talkin & hit da goddamn blunt 🤣" I sucked my teeth and hit it again until my throat started burning. I exhaled and Omari said "See dis time you aint-" I started coughing again then I handed the blunt to him and put my face in my shirt. I spent a few minutes coughing and Omari laughed at me the whole time. Me: "Fuck you" Omari: "Guess what?" Me: "What..." Omari: "Dats dat gas gas. Yo ass finna be GONE." Me: "Nigga 😐"

Him and Dani started laughing then Monay said "Mane why you give her dat? I thought it was just regular gas." Omari: "Cus it's her birthday." Monay: "Man.." Dani: "Why you gettin so upset about it? 😂" Monay looked at me and I laughed then she said "She know why." Me: "Gimme a kiss." I held my arms out and she said "No 🤣 I know whatchu on." Me: "I can't get a kiss for my birthday?" Monay: "No." Me: "If youn wanna be wit me no mo just say det" Omari: "Nigga shut up 🤣" Monay: "Facts cus you sound dumb" I laughed then I said "Oh my goddd just give me a kiss or sum. Yeen even say happy birthday or nothing 🙄"

Monay: "Happy birthday bae. There" Omari: "Mane quit being a punk and give dat girl a kiss 😂" Me: "Factsss" Monay: "No bruh she know why I'm not gon kiss her" Me: "I don't" Monay: "Yes you do" I started giggling then I said "I don't." Monay: "You do cus you laughing 😐 And yo ass is already high off 2 hits." Dani: "They was big & deadly tho 😭" Monay: "She can't handle dat shit doe 🤣" Me: "I just want a kiss" Monay: "Too bad" Me: "Lemme go find someone else to gimme a kiss" Monay: "Yeah fuckin right. I will fuck you up" I smiled then I said "So fuck me up." Omari: "Oh nah y'all on some weird shit."

Monay: "SHE on some weird shit. Not me." I started laughing then Dani said "Aw she's high" Me: "No." Omari: "Since yeen high, take another hit" Me: "Okay" Omari: "Yeah nigga you a lil high cus youn eva just hit it without complaining 🤣" Me: "Just gimme it 🙄" He handed me the blunt and I hit it then I said "Mo" Monay: "What" Me: "You still aint tell me why I can't get a kiss" Monay: "Cus you weird" Me: "No I aint" Monay: "You know exactly why you can't get a kiss outta me Lani 😂 Don't be tryna act dumb."
