He got a notice about something happening in town and how he was summon to help out, he tipped his hat to his workers and headed out forgetting to mention he was gonna be gone for a while.
When he came back he heard weeping and sounds of a women talking trying to comfort the crying which he immediately headed to only to be met with you hugging onto the maid for dear life as you cried into her dress, she noticed the man and motioned him over to take control of the situation and the moment you heard the foot steps you immediately cling onto him and apologized.
He questioned what happened but you refused to talk about it, ever since you get separated you began to weep which made your father worry about your mental health.
But after a while you admitted that you worry he'll abandon you, he stood there for a minute and said something that shook you to the core "There's a kitchen knife in the kitchen island, if I ever abandon you, use it on me"
Jack Skellington
He came home after a long day of work which he expected to meet a happy Sally and Y/N only to be met with the sobs of his child, his heart broke upon hearing the cries and he rushed to where you both where at.
He feared that something tragic happened but when you looked up it reminded him when you first opened your eyes, you reached out for him which he dropped everything in his arms and picked you up and began to rub your back to calm you down just like he did when you were 1 years old.
After you finally relaxed he wanted answers of what caused you to cry out in sadness but your excuse was always you were just startled which he didn't believe, after some comforting you admitted that you fear he'll abandon you which made him laugh out and announce "HAH! Y/N my sweet child a king never abandons their throne, or their family"
Victor and Emily
Emily explained a million times that they needed to go for a new person has joined and she and Victor needed to explain the things down here, Sam was there to keep you company but you wanted at least one of them to stay.
Once they came back they were surprised to see you sitting on the couch with tears in your eyes not crying out but it looked like you waited for their return, once your attention turned to them you gasped and hugged them.
They turned their attention to your lover only to find them hugging their pet, they quietly walked to the dying room (Get it, dining dyi- oh cast me into the fire later) and sat down at the table Emily and Victor attention was fixated onto you as you just avoided eye contact.
Victor was about to speak but Emily took his words "We know why your upset, we said we'd return" you gasped and turned to look at them "But what if something happened that changed that?" You muttered "Like what? Being killed? We're already dead silly" you felt embarrassed now but a pare of arms wrapped around you and the two hugged you "We promise we'll always be here"
Beetlejuice
He never leaves your side and you were fine with it but soon you started to see that he started to become more busy with something and couldn't spend as much time with you anymore which frightened you causing you to think he was losing interest in you.
One-day he returned home from something as he was smiling like crazy with excitement, he plopped down on the couch and said happy "How you doing kiddos~" the only reply he got was a soft scoff, he opened one eye to see you sitting on the ceiling looking away from him.
He never got a response like this and immediately sat up "Uh bug you okay?" He question as he paid attention to your actions "Dad...Would you ever abandon me?" Immediately he flipped the couch back wards and slithered underneath and looked up at you again "WHOA KIDDO, ILL ABANDON YOU WHEN I COME BACK TO THE LIVING WORLD" you knew that was impossible which caused you to smile.
He walked to a wall and began to walk up to it and then stood next to you "Actually, I'm sorry I've been busy kiddo I've just been um.. Getting a home run if you know what I mean" you looked confused and he rolled his eyes "I mean I think I got a solid date"
