6/questions without answers

Slowly Mckeyla opened her eyes, for a minute her vision was blurred but then she could make out the white walls of a hospital room. She looked around there were a few machines standing around her bed one of them she recognized as being a Puls rate monitor wired she thought how did I get here? Then suddenly it all came flooding back to her, of course the person in the hallway she had fought the masked intruder but had gotten hit on the head in doing so after that everything seemed to go black and that was all she could remember. She satt up just as a nurse came in "oh your awake are you?" She said smiling Mckeyla smiled back before asking the lady where she was after a few minutes she found out that she was in a hospital called Vera di flora near the hotel and that her friends would be coming shortly to see her "oh and here's your phone" the nurse added "I thought you might want it cause it's been beeping non stop for half an hour now" Mckeyla smiled again "thanks" she said before turning her attention to the screen. It was 15:00 and Mckeyla noticed that both Maddy her mom and Kyle had been texting her non stop since 13:00 she started chatting with Kyle apparently he was also in Hawaii since yesterday at 9:00 when he asked her where she was because he couldn't find her at the hotel she had booked she stopped should she tell him? No maybe not he would just get worried, but on second thought if she did have to stay here for a couple of days she would have to tell him anyway, but what should she say he would probably think she had been stupid for going against a robber on her own and she could hardly tell him she was a well trained agent and was quite used to fighting people,it was just as she was debating wether or not to tell him when the door opened and adri,bry,cam,ember and Devon burst in "M we were sooo worried" bry almost yelled Mckeyla laughed "calm down I'm fine" she satt up as agent Bosch came in "well agent McAlister I hope your feeling okay after your rather unfortunate accident last night" she paused " I'll be in the hotel if you need me" she informed them before heading out again "so M who was that last night any leads" there was a thoughtful expression on Mckeyla face as she noticed how many questions were in her head already unanswered "well I would like to make it our job to find out" she answered with a smile
