Marks POV:
I decide to stay home today and make sure Ed is ok. He has been sleeping for about an hour now. I have kept a close eye on him to insure he stays asleep.

I walk into the living room and get out my computer. If I can't go to work then I should at least check my emails.

Time skip

It's been three hours and I hear a sound from me and Eduardo's room. I walk over to the bedroom.

"Hey Ed? You awake..?"

"Hm... what..?"

"It's me. Mark. You feeling ok?"

"Not really..."

"Well. Do you feel any better..?"

"Yes. A bit."

"Ok well. I know you may still be a bit tired. But I think you should go sit in the living room so I can take care of you?"

"Would you quit mothering me like that..?"

"No. I'm taking care of you. Not mothering you. Now cmon."

Eduardo POV:
I get forced into the living room by Mark. He helps me up out of bed. I'm still a bit wobbly but I can at least walk now.

"Here! Sit down! I'll go get you a blanket!"

"But it's not even cold..?"

Before I can say anything else. Mark is gone.

Mark would always mother me if I was sick or hurt. I don't know why he does it. I used to find it annoying but right now it makes me feel more calm.

His voice is really comforting. And the way he talks is really soothing. The things he does are really kind and sweet. Overall he's just really adorable.

Wait... did I just say adorable!?

No no! I don't think he's adorable! He's just nice that's all!

Before I know I find myself rambling in my mind.

"Uh earth to Eduardo-?"

"Ah-! Oh mark..."

"Here I got you a blanket and some lemon tea"

"You know I hate lemon tea..."

"But it's good for you!"

I sigh and reach for the tea. Mark puts the blanket over me and straightens it. Then he sits next too me.

There are still some tears in the corner of my eye. It must have been pretty notable because mark comments on it.

"Your still crying? Awe cmon Ed it's ok..."

"Stop treating me like a baby."

"You didn't answer my question..."

"Im not crying... well... not anymore..."

Mark sighs.

"If you don't want me to baby you. Then I can just leave..-"

"No- you uh... don't have to leave..."

"What? Do I make you feel better?"

"N- no..."

"Aweeeee"

"I'll start crying again."

"Ok ok I'll be quiet..."

Mark smiles at me. He has such a sweet smile. I am able to force a smile back.

"Your smiling! That's a start!"

"Heh..."

I feel my face warm up... this is so strange... it was only last month I didn't even count mark as a friend...

Mark POV
I look over to see Eduardo smiling.

Did- did I do that...

I smile back at him and see his face turn red.

I- is he blushing!? Did- did I do that to!?

No... of corse you didn't- did you..?

Suddenly Eduardo starts crying again.

"Omg! Eddie why are you crying!?"

"I- I just..!"

I look over at the TV. The show we were watching was about renovating houses. And in one of the scenes they pass a ruined house. It looked like it had been destroyed.

"Hey hey... it's ok..."

I hug onto Ed's arm.

"Shhhh it's ok..."

I rest my chin on his shoulder and whisper 'shhhh' calmly at him. Attempting to calm him down.

One of his tears fall onto my head. I hug onto him tighter.

"It's ok..."

"No it's not..."

"Your ok..."

"I'm not ok..."

"I'm here..."

"You have better things to do..."

"No I don't... all I want to do is make you feel better..."

"You... you have better things to do mark... go away..."

"I'm not going to go away..."

"I can't stand to watch you waste your time on me..."

"It's not wasting my time if I want to..."

"Just go away...."

"No."

"You... you. Have... you have better things to do..."
