Epilogue

* A little insight *

Honestly....when I got the idea for writing this fanfic I wanted to make it super heartbreaking! I mean the original Xiao Zhan was supposed to be really mean to Yibo during their childhood and keep on being mean to him till it was too late to turn back..? However, this little Zhan had a mind of his own (?), like he just couldn't be mean to Yibo for his life! Then I was like when he realizes his feelings for Yibo I would make him go away from Yibo to sort his feelings maybe, and he would take few years to come back finally while Yibo would be in so much agony from suddenly being separated from his Zhan-ge. But I don't why I could never write something like this and present it to you guys. I, myself, didn't feel it right for no reason... I felt this Zhan would hate to be separated from Yibo, and that's how you all ended up with such a caring and loving Zhan who would do anything for his beloved Yibo.

Now that you know what you were supposed to get but what you actually ended up with, here's a little epilogue for you guys~~

The sunlight penetrated through the glass window and fell on the person that was using Zhan's lap as a pillow and slept like a cat. The sudden light made the sleeping Yibo frown before he unconsciously moved his face from the source of light and burrowed his face into Zhan's tummy. It brought a lazy smile on Zhan's face as he loving patted Yibo's head. Yibo's hairs were soft like always and so soothing to touch. He raised his eyes to look outside the balcony and could see the clear blue sky which seemed beautiful today, more than usual.

Zhan was originally reading a book near their living room balcony while sitting on the floor. It's not like they don't have a comfy sofa but Zhan preferred sitting on the floor more for no reason. Then Yibo came, laid his head on his lap, and took Zhan's free hand into his. Zhan felt some tingling sensation as Yibo softly touched and played with his fingers. He could no longer concentrate reading the book but he still pretended to read the book. After some time Yibo fell asleep as he was lying down so comfortably in a nice warm environment. Now watching Yibo take a nap so peacefully made Zhan's heart go soft. How can one person be so adorable even when sleeping?! Guess what? This is his man! You heard right! His husband! Zhan kept on thinking as he cried inside out of happiness.

Realizing what he was thinking Zhan chuckled a little as he suddenly felt so embarrassed. The sunlight got suddenly too hot so he closed the book, quickly got Yibo in his arms, stood up, and went to their room to lie him down on the bed. It was a Sunday afternoon. Xiao Zhan finally could take time off during weekends and no longer has to work his ass off as his business is stable. Therefore, here he was lazily enjoying his weekend with his husband. He thought of going to kitchen and doing some preparation for tonight's meal as they have invited Wooseok and Seungyoun over. His parents were traveling to Europe or else he would have gone to visit them with Yibo as he does usually on Sundays. But having his friends over is fun too.

Yibo doesn't know but he has planned a surprise date for them tomorrow. He is thinking about taking him out in the morning, after breakfast, and then they will return home at night after dinner. Taking Yibo on occasional dates sure makes Zhan feel content. Making sure Yibo is happy is what takes him to be happy. Married for a decade now yet nothing has changed between them. They still had the same love since the beginning. No feeling has changed. Some people says feelings are not constant and they can easily change over time, but even after being in love for so many years their love was still fresh as a daisy. They were like a newly wed couple too much in love with other. Seungyoun also often complains about how he and Wooseok felt like an old married couple compared to Yibo and Zhan. This always makes Zhan laugh out loud while Yibo would simply smile.

They have been living such a fulfilling life ever since they moved to Taiwan. Everything was going so well that it felt that it was all a dream and Zhan would wake up from it and find himself as an unsure teenager, which he was once upon a time. To say that he didn't miss his father and Yishi mom a little over the years would be a lie. They could be heartless but it doesn't mean he was. But they never contacted him and Yibo again as if they no longer existed for their parents. However, it was unexpected to get a call from their younger sister a few days ago. She was a teenager now. She put a lot of effort to find his number. She was nervous at first, but when she found Zhan talking warmly with her she broke down. She called to apologize honestly. When everything happened she was still an ignorant child and from what she remembers she might have hurt Yibo unknowingly so she profusely apologized for it.

She found out about them from Zhou Cheng whose parents were their family friends, and Zhou Cheng was still Zhan's good friend. When they kept the call she said she would try to visit them during her holidays, and promised to bring lots of local Chong Qing snacks when she learned Yibo was craving them. It was a strange feeling to suddenly be reconnected with their sister, but Yibo was happy as he was finally enjoying being a big brother. Zhan was truly glad for him.

As he was about to go to the kitchen Zhan felt a tug from behind. Yibo was looking at him with puppy sleepy eyes as his husky voice sleepily said, "Yibo..wants to be hugged while napping ..Zhan-ge." This melted Zhan completely as he got on the bed and lied down. Yibo shifted and turned his backside towards Zhan. Zhan coiled his arms around Yibo's waist and pulled him closer till there was no space left between them. Yibo could feel the warm chest against his back, now if he was a cat he would have purred feeling so cosy in Zhan's arms, he really felt content as he dozed off again. Zhan sighed as he knew he would have to order takeaways when Wooseok and Seungyoun comes. Well, he will worry about that later when they come. Zhan kissed Yibo's head and after a while followed Yibo to the dreamland.

Wasn't this update really unexpected?! Are you guys surprised?! Did you ever thought I would write an epilogue for this?! Actually, even I never thought I will write an epilogue for it but here I am now, lol. I hope you guys enjoyed it~~
