"You..you..what are you..saying?", Mr. Xiao said not believing what he had just heard.

"If it's a joke then it's really not funny Zhan!", Yishi said horrifyingly as she kept her hand on her heart.

"Well, have I joked with you guys ever? Not that I can remember.", Zhan sighed, " I really am not joking. I am in love with Yibo. The romantic kind of love. The kind of love in which you want to possess their heart and body-", but before Zhan could continue Mr.Xiao barked in.

" How dare you be so vulgar in front of us, your parents, you unfilial son! I have faced enough of your rebelling phase, always finding new ways to annoy the hell out us! Stop this nonsense at once!", Mr. Xiao said as he pounded his fist against the dinner table in anger.

Zhan seemed unperturbed by Mr.Xiao's outburst, well, maybe because he was already prepared for this. He has prepared his heart for this moment for the last few months, so now he was actually going to face his father and stepmother head-on.

After four years Zhan has finally graduated from his university. This was his graduation night to be precise. Zhan knew from this day onwards he was going to be a proper member of the society, and needs to take responsibilities for all his actions. As said before he was truly clear about his future goals from here on, he wanted to establish and run a graphic designing firm of his own, be it small; he wanted to tie a knot with Yibo and settle down, he wanted to have kids with Yibo maybe through surrogacy or simply adoption.

Most importantly he wanted to grow old with Yibo until they could walk no more, and sit by the veranda of their small house and see the sun while it would set. He truly wants the rest of his life to revolve the same way around Yibo as it always has. But he doesn't want their relationship to be hidden anymore, cause what was wrong with their relationship? Weren't they only in love? So now Zhan is going to bask their relation in as much light as it deserved. He wants everyone to know that this amazing human being .i.e Yibo, belonged to him. But he knew being in Chongqing, nor in China, would allow them to live freely.

So he was willing to take a risk,more of a gamble with his life, as well as Yibo's. He was ready to leave behind all this toxicity and start a fresh life in Taiwan. Yes, he was ready to move to Taiwan along with Yibo, and there he would try to start a graphic designing firm along with a friend of his. Once when he was doing a group assignment he met this group mate called 'Wooseok', and by the end of the assignment they were great friends. So he was originally a Korean, but had grown up in Taiwan , and came to study in China. So when Wooseok got to know about his willingness to open a firm in Taiwan, and move there, Wooseok than expressed if they could open a firm in partnership, and Zhan was like 'why not?!'. This way not only he will be gaining extra capital, but also local knowledge, help with local language; moreover, Wooseok was a really trustworthy guy.

He knew this was harder task than said. But sometimes people need to get out of their comfort zone and try to push themselves to their limit so that they won't have any regrets at the end of the day, that's what Zhan believes.

When he shared his plan with his mother and stepfather, they were literally over the moon, so happy , and so proud of him at the same time. They were more than willing to help Zhan with anything he needed. They insisted that Zhan and Yibo stayed with them until Zhan was familiar with the place, and his firm started to operate well. It didn't seem like a bad idea to Zhan though. So with everything planned out properly. Zhan was set out to go with Yibo the next day after his graduation. But before that he thought his father and stepmother also had the right to know about everything.

It would be a lie to say if Zhan wasn't scared about suddenly breaking it to them that he was in love with Yibo and they were dating, and then leaving at a short notice for Taiwan. But Zhan didn't know any other way to break it to them. Zhan had for once thought about letting them know after he and Yibo went to Taiwan. But all these years his father and stepmother has sure done a lot for him, and Yibo; not trying to remember their verbal abuse, and lack of love, financially yes, they have done a lot. One day he would sure pay off this debt.
