"i haven't forgiven you." i say pulling away

"i know." he replies

"and i don't know how long i'll need." i say

"i'll give you all the space you need." phil says

"so how is baby?" he asks me

"making me want to pee all the time, making me want to throw up, making me not want to eat, so great. "i say

"i'm so sorry i left." he says, "i didn't realise that upset you until gareth told me, i would of come back if i knew."

"i think you should of figured that out for yourself." i say

"you're right, you shouldn't of had to tell me you were upset."

"i wasn't upset, just lonely and confused. " i reply

"i understand." he says

"but you don't, you weren't in that situation. can you ever imagine how much stress i was in?" i say

"again i'm sorry." he says

"i'll see you later." i say getting up off the bench and walking back inside

i don't know, i so badly want him back. whenever i see his face i automatically just give in and forget anything ever happened.

i go to the kitchen and get myself a drink, i can hear mason from a mile away running down the hall way.

"y/n!!" he shouts running in

"it's me." i say as he throws his arms around me giving me a hug

"are you okay?" he asks me

"all good." i reply

"hi baby." mason says, "can i?" he asks

"yes." i reply as he puts his hand on my stomach

"you're so lucky, you've got the best parents." he says to my belly

"you're gonna do great." he says looking at me again

"thank you mase." i say

"wanna come out?" he asks

"i've already been out, just came to get a drink." i tell him

"you were out? i didn't see you." he says

"i was sat on the bench i'm always at, too busy playing football huh." i say giggling

"probably." he replies, "come on."

i follow him out the kitchen with a glass of water in my hand, we go out on the training grounds where i see phil lay down on the bench taking up the whole thing.

"oh is that gonna be awkward?" mason asks me once he notices phil is there

"i'll be fine" i say walking over, "have fun."

mason walks over to the squad as i walk over to the bench.

"gonna let me in?" i ask as phil immediately sits up and turns around to see who i was

"course." he says moving over

"are you okay?" phil asks as i sit down and put my water on the floor

"yep." i reply

"good." he says looking back out onto the pitch

we both sit there in silence watching the boys play.

"how bad is your foot?" i ask breaking the silence

"not sure yet, hurts to walk." he replies as i nod

it goes back to silence, i re position on the bench and accidentally put my hand on top of his. i quickly move it as he looks into my eyes.

"no, don't." phil says

"what?" i ask

"don't move it." he says

i slowly move my hand back on top of his, i could feel his veins.

the silence approaches again, but this time it was nice. i felt safe again, i hadn't forgiven him. but we were getting there...
