"speak in our code language." mason says

"what?" i ask giggling

"we don't have a code language y/n." phil says while must of hearing me

"yeah we do, the one we made up." mason says

"go on then." i say

"no mase." phil says

"you're so worried about embarrassing yourself." i say to phil

"everyone is." phil replies

"mason's not." i say

"mason's strange." phil says

"oi, i can still hear you even though i'm not talking." mason says

"i knew." phil replies, "right anyway, when you get here there's an obvious car park. tell me once you've parked."

"cool see you." mason says

"bye, bye y/n." phil says

"byee." i say

"you'll litreally see him in a minute." mason says

"huh?" i ask

"you sounded sad that he was ending the call."  he says

"i'm excited, not sad." i say

"well you're in luck, i think we're here." mason says

he makes his final turn and reverses into a car park space. it looked like nothing was here, well from my point of view.

"now i really do have to help you out cause phil could catch me." mason says

"could use a hand actually." i say

mason gets out the drivers side of the car and walks round, he opens my door and gives me his hand.

"thank you." i say climbing out the car

"where are we?" i asked

"turn around." mason says

i turn around so i was looking the other way.

it was so beautiful, you could hear the waves coming in. i could see the footprints in the sand, the seagulls making their final tour for food for the night.

"why's he done this?" i ask

"there's more." mason says

i follow him down the little concrete stairs so we were now directly on the beach, i took my shoes off and let the sand run through my toes. we walked for about two minutes until i saw this little table placed in the middle, no one was around, just us and about three waiters.

i see phil walk out from the little shed they transported here to cook the food, he walks over to the table and pulls me out a chair. me and mason were still about 40 metres away.

"hurry up then." mason says running off back to the car park leaving me

i make eye contact with phil and smile, i walk over to the table looking down at my feet.

i go over to the chair he had pulled out and he helps me down, he tucks me in before going over to the other side.

"you look amazing." phil says grabbing my hand and placing it down on the table to hold

"phil, this is amazing. how did you do this?" i ask

"what can i say." he says sitting back letting go of my hand to brush his shoulders making me laugh

"wanna go in?" he asks me looking at the sea

"in this?" i ask looking down at my dress

"well, i brought you this." phil says holding up one of my cheekiest bikinis i owned

"of course you did." i say giggling, "where do i get changed?"

"there are toilets back there." he says pointing

"okay thank you." i say taking the bikini from him and walking over

*PHIL'S POV*

this was it, i was going to propose in the water. i remember y/n telling me when she was very young she used to live near the beach and would beg to come out here everyday. so why not wife her up here?

*END OF PHIL'S POV*
*YOUR POV*

once my bikini was on, i took a quick look in the mirror before exiting with my dress in my hand.

phil stands up from the table when he sees me walking over, his jaw drops and he looks speechless.

"okay there?" i ask giggling

"fucking hell." phil says

"come onnn." i say grabbing his hand and pulling him in the water

i start running which makes him aswell. when my toes reach the water, i remember the days i did this with my dad. it made me so happy, in the future i definelty wanted to live near a beach again.

"wait y/n i dropped something." phil says

"oh what-." i say turning around because i was slightly infront

i cover my mouth with my hands, he was there, in the sea, on one knee with a ring in his hand.
