REPOST: My Little one; Toothless x baby dragon reader

Okay so this is yet another repost. This was one of my earlier works back in the day and from what I remember, I really enjoyed doing this fic cause this was my FIRST HTTYD story, so I hope soon I can get more requests from this fandom so if anyone out there wants a HTTYD request, give me a suggestion down below. It was so loud and scary. The sky was very dark and kept flashing in light and booming with noise. I tried to protect myself under my den but each time the flashing and the booming just got louder and louder. I was scared. Where were mommy and daddy? Why weren't they here with me? All I remember was waking up here from my egg and no one was there to greet me. I would try calling out for them but no one never came.

I didn't want to leave my cave even when my tummy would growl at me, if I left what if mommy and daddy came back looking for me? They would miss me. As the loud noises continued I tried as best as I could to try and hide myself.

*3rd Person POV*

Chief Hiccup was making his final runs for his village before the storm hit but as it began to get worse, he told his dragon Toothless.

"Alright come on bud we can't stay out here for long, we need to head back home before we're caught in this storm". Toothless growled in agreement but then just before he took off, his ears picked up something. It was faint but he heard it very well. He then quickly changed course which made Hiccup exclaim, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa Toothless stop! Bad dragon! Where in Thor's name are you going!? Toothless stop!" But the night fury didn't stop.

Because what he heard sounded like a baby dragon and not just any baby dragon. He couldn't think it was possible but he just had to find out for himself if what he heard was what he thought it was. Finally Toothless landed and Hiccup got off of him and said.

"Okay mind telling me what that was about!?" Toothless' ears then began to twitch as he tried to pick up the sound. "What is it bud? You hear something?" Toothless growled softly at him then took off running with Hiccup following behind.

When they finally reached the den, Toothless sniffed the air and even through the rain, he caught onto a scent and it was then he knew his suspicions were correct. He had found a baby Night-fury! Toothless gently called out to the baby which made it peek its head out.

"By Gods—it's a baby Night-fury!" Said Hiccup in disbelief and amazement. "Toothless you—you found another Night-fury! But—where are the parents? I mean it can't be more than a few weeks old, it shouldn't be out here all alone". As Hiccup took a step forward, Toothless held out one of his wings and looked to his rider and best friend with serious eyes. "You're right bud, I'll let you take care of this one. I mean who knows what that poor thing has been through already, I'll stay back here hidden well enough as to not scare it off". Toothless nodded in gratitude then Hiccup slowly walked backwards behind a bush and allowed his dragon to confront the baby Night fury.

*1st Person POV*

I had heard the sound of another Night-fury call out to me and when I peeked out of my cave hoping it was my mommy or daddy I only saw another nightfury and a human. Frightenedly I retreated back to my cave but the Night-fury slowly came towards me and said.

'Don't be afraid. We're not here to hurt you'. I trembled as he now stood before my cave, the only chance I had of escaping. 'What is your name?'

'I—I don't have one. I haven't met my mommy or daddy since I hatched. Have you seen them?'
