Hey guys well I have yet another tumblr request that came to me a LONG time ago.  So be warned that this fic contains CHARACTER DEATH!!! SO ANGST IS IN THIS FIC!!! But there is a hint of fluff inside. I also am sorry for the briefness of this fic but I didn't see much with this story so I kinda pictured it to be a sorta drabble type thing. So I hope you all enjoy this fic and until the next update :)

It should never have happened. It shouldn't have gone down like that, but yet it did. After the attack on the Daleks, the Doctor shut herself out from the team, her fam. She returned them back to their home in 2020 before leaving them behind to travel through the space time continuum.

"Oh (y/n). Why did you do it? There was another way, why did you have to sacrifice yourself like that so recklessly?" she sat down on top of the stairs and pulled out the special photo-locket and unlocked it to reveal the picture that they took together shortly after her regeneration.

It always became a tradition of theirs to keep a picture each time either of them regenerated as sorta keepsake. But now the Doctor would forever be haunted at looking her last ever regeneration, in the body of a 19 year old.

"Why? Why did you have to do that? You insane girl. My insane girl." She switched on a few gears before allowing the TARDIS to basically fly in auto-pilot mode. The Doctor continued to stare down at the picture heartbroken and filled with regret, when suddenly a jolt of the TARDIS knocked her right off the step. "What in the world?"

She quickly raced over and saw that the TARDIS was starting to spark out.

"Ow! Alright ol girl what was that for?" she said as she tried to take back manual control but the TARDIS was actually refusing to give up auto-control. Smoke and fire began to rise and shoot out till suddenly the TARDIS came to a halt and stopped moving. "Now what?" the TARDIS sparked out twice, "Don't take that tone with my missy!"

She then walked away from the console towards the doors as she muttered.

"Now just where did you take me?" she opened the doors and she stepped out to see that she was just a few yards away from the backyard of a house. Now it wasn't a giant palace or a mansion, it was more like a—homey cottage-type like house. Two story brick home with a fairly large patio and a backyard that appeared to be decorated for something.

She could see a young ginger haired woman setting down a cake and a young sandy blonde haired man putting up some decorations around a few trees or around the backyard.

"Decorations all set you two?" a curly haired blonde woman said as she came out with two neatly wrapped gifts.

"Almost done, Rory you got the pinata ready?" the ginger haired woman said in a heavy Scottish accent.

"Yes, but remind me again why we got one again?"

"Because this is her first birthday here on Earth and we should give her an earthly tradition."

"Plus she's always wanted to know just why children of your Earth hit a decorative donkey."

"What are you doing?" she heard a small voice say beside her. The Doctor jumped softly and looked down to see a young girl with short auburn hair and brownish/green eyes. She looked to be about 4-6 years old but her eyes showed much wisdom behind that innocent child face.

"Oh I was just, I mean my—" she hesitated to say the word TARDIS because she didn't know if this child could handle something like that. "My ride. Sorta broke down on me and I was trying to see if I could find some help."
