Thank you for all the kind comments on the chapter previous. I was pretty shaken up by what I read in the document and was hasty in what I wrote. I really appreciate your views and the support that came in.
I'll admit that this is my first time in a fandom where there was active and fresh allegations - typically I join fandoms late when everything's blown over, and when this all came out just as I was really getting into it, it made me feel really funky and bad :/
However, I saw this post by Munnifred on Twitter, and I think it rings true especially right now:

Quite a few people reminded me that supporting the creator is different than participating in the fandom, and you are right to a point. I'd say that right now that does apply, considering that everything is up in the air in regards to this situation. Both sides are investing in the legal process to deal with what has occurred. And until a court date is scheduled and a process begins, we really have nothing to go on besides what we are being told.
I truly like the concept of Your Boyfriend, and I enjoy seeing your votes and comments. So this book won't be abandoned (barring, I guess, more serious stuff coming to light) and I'll continue making content.
The changes stated in the last chapter are null and void. Below are the actual changes I'll be making:
- YB will be referred to as 'Dylan' from now on
- I have a few 'canon facts' chapters in my drafts that I will post, but going forward content will be focused on headcanons and scenarios
- The creators art won't be featured in future chapters. Instead, I'll be posting my own to keep practicing drawing. As well, if you have your own fan art that you would like to be featured, please DM me with it and I'll credit you in the chapter it's posted on! I'd love to promote other artists :]
